Perfect kitchen scales
These are the perfect kitchen scales for my needs. I need something small that doesn't take up a lot of space and can be easily stored away. These are ideal as I can just slot them in one of cupboards between some cookery books. They have a nice sleek modern look, love the tempered glass and the silver and black. The led display is bright and displays the measurements clearly. They have the tare feature which allows you to put your container on the scales, press the tare button and the scales will then show as zero so you can begin measuring your ingredients. You can also measure multiple ingredients into one bowl and keep pressing tare button inbetween. It's a must have feature for kitchen scales really. They're super easy to clean, a quick wipe is all that's needed. I also like the fact that they take two AAA batteries. If the batteries run out I normally have AAA's in the cupboard so no risk of having to guess measurements when cooking dinner! My old scales needed a large button battery which I never remembered to have in stock.I've tried the scales using all units, they work perfectly and are accurate. Great space saving scales that look good and work.

Sleek design
My old electronic scales were getting a bit temperamental, it was time to replace. These scales are very sleek. My old ones were a bit plasticky, did their job (when they weren't playing up) but these ones seem better made with a smooth upper surface for easy cleaning, no fiddly bit to get flour and the like trapped in. A good bright digital display, even I can see it without my glasses! The scales take 2 AAA batteries, helpfully supplied in the box. I haven't had a proper play yet but from what I can see so far you can weigh, remove the bowl, etc, from the scales, and it retains the weight of what you've just taken off so you can weight your next lot of ingredients. Like anything new, I'm going to have to adjust to a different set of scales but they look quite easy to operate.Happy that I got these, a much upgraded essential for the kitchen.

Sleek, useful.
These scales are attractive and sleekly designed. The grey and black colour combination is modern and stylish. They take 2 AAA batteries, which are provided in the box by the manufacturer, a nice touch I feel as they didn't have to do that and in fact it would've been cheaper/more cost-effective for them NOT to have included some batteries. As far as the operation goes, it is simple and effective. When you switch it on the default unit is grams anyway, but there is a small instructional booklet included that speaks plain English, which is nice. There is a maximum weight of 10kg. I'm not sure what you would be weighing that would be that heavy but I guess it also brings to mind that this could have multiple uses these days - not just in the kitchen but for weighing items to be posted for returns or selling your own items online perhaps. There's not a great deal more I can say. It is nicely designed, smart looking and easy to use. I am happy with it. At time of writing it is currently listed at £16.99 and this is good value compared to similar items on the market I feel, it is a good thing that this takes AAA batteries don't forget, so you're not stuck trying to find one of those circular types some of these items use.

Good scales, clear display, easy-clean.
I ordered these scales to help with my keto diet, which requires weighing absolutely everything I eat. I'm happily metric, so I use the metric measures, but there are imperial pounds and ounces available too, along with ml for liquids for those who want different measures. The scale has a nice small footprint (slightly smaller than an A4 sheet of paper), and a tempered glass surface that is very easy to clean, but may require caution with hot or heavy items. The display is good and large and very clear - I could even read it with the wrong glasses on! It takes two AAA batteries, and basic ones are supplied with it that I'll replace with rechargeable when they run out. There isn't any option to fun from a cable or charger, so make sure your batteries are OK before you start a cooking session! The price ( £16.99 at time of writing) is quite high compared with similar scales, so I've docked a star for value for money, but otherwise recommend.

Smart and effective
These are really smart looking scales with a hardened glass top making it easy to wipe clean, a good surface area and a large illuminated easy to read display.I tested the operation of the scales as follows:• Tested them against my older scales. They both registered the same weights.• Tested measuring in g, oz’s, lbs and ml all registered correctly.• Weighed a bowl zeroed the scales and then added a second object. This matched the weight of the second object on its own.• Tested weighing small items, found the lightest weight it would register was 3g. although once over 3g readings rise in increments of 1g• Tested the maximum weight and this exceeded 10kg by about 50g which is the highest I have ever seen kitchen scales go up to, most of the scales I have owned have a max weight of 3KgThese are nice/good scales, well made and work seamlessly, the touch sensitive buttons/zones beneath the glass top work seamlessly. The only fault I can find and its not a fault with the scales, but the batteries (2 x AAA) supplied, which display as at half power on the scales display.
