I am 5’9, 130lbs and usually wear a size 2. The small fit me perfectly! I’m hesitant to buy dresses online because of my height, but the length was the perfect. I wanted it to be short enough to be sexy, yet not too short to be able to wear or constantly worrying about it riding up. Immediately upon opening it I was impressed by the quality of the material. It was thick, soft (without looking cheap), and not even remotely see-through. The squared neckline gave it an elevated look, the straps were comfortable and had the perfect amount of stretch, and I was able to dance throughout the night without it riding up. Further, it was tight enough to compliment my shape, without being too tight to be uncomfortable. It hugs you in all the right places while being surprisingly stretchy. You really can’t ask for a better looking little black dress for the price. I would definitely recommend.

update *** so i STILL love this dress, even bought a second right after getting the first,...BUT i washed it&layed flat to dry&it shrank alil. just the length mostly. &the length was PERFECT before washing, (mini skirt length) if any shorter, i couldn't wear in public... for which is it now. so going to buy more&go up to a medium so i can wear outside my home. so if your 5'4 or taller, DO NOT BUY A SMALL.*** wasn't sure what to expect but i love this dress!! perfect amount of stretch, thick but not too thick(lined), soft fabric, could do back flips in it if i wanted to. was concerned about the sizing because the measurements were.. strange. but it's what i consider normal sizing. if you normally wear small, get small, etc. im 5'4 & 120-130lbs(?unsure) &bought a small. i can wear it with or without a bra. looks good eitherway. worth the price. only wish it was a little less so i can buy alot more of them. i want 3 in a bunch of colors. to hav for a long time. you can sleep in it ( it comes up..ALIL,but then stays put) dance in it, throw a sweater over it etc. can dress up or dress dwn. the good fabric leaves alot of options. its NOT see thru but the fabric is so soft it does hav a VERY slight sheer to it so if you buy a tight size, you'll see belly button, nips if no bra, etc. its tailored slightly, for the hips&butt,if you have one.. which i don't really, but not heavily tailored. that's why the fit is so good. when you bend over comes up a little. but if you buy the right size, it comes up JUST enough to be sexy, but not too much, to look inappropriate. highly recommend

I had previously bought a black dress from Amazon a few years back and it had honestly disappointed me so I wasn't sure if I wanted to get this one but I'm so glad that I did because it's exactly like a pictures and the material is actually pretty thick but soft that emojed your body and it's quality while being simple and sexy it's not super short and what I really like is that I was unsure about the sizing cuz I'm losing weight and gaining but the small fit me just fine I will definitely be getting more of this dress in the future What I really like is that while its a strapless look, in the front it kind of cuts in a way that it's flattering for my body type instead of having that harsh line across Worth the buy

Not cheaply made! Solid fabric with good elasticity and had held up after plenty of trips through the wash. Very comfortable (as reported by the recipient) soft, form fitting. Length is good. Was purchased for a photo shoot.

First of all, the QUALITY of this material is boutique level. It’s hard to explain. It’s got some light stretch to it, it’s a thicker (not thick though) material, the black is SATURATED (just beautiful) and the fit is ridiculous. It’s like the most perfect dress ever! I got this as a “throw away”, meaning I had already been shopping for a cocktail mini dress and found a likely option but ordered this “just in case”. Well this ain’t a just in case dress. This is the most flattering and comfortable dress I own and I cannot believe I got it on AMAZON!

This is a sexy little black dress!! But I would say it is sized small and fits very tight (and short!) It is a clubbing / nightlife outfit rather than something more sophisticated or for lots of people to see... MINIMAL coverage!

I’m very petite and this dress fit me perfectly. The fabric isn’t see-through and so far the black has no faded. It was much cheaper than most of the other dresses I was looking at and I like this one much more. There’s a little weight to it as well.

Very unhappy, item had obviously been used, it was covered in hair and fluff and screwed up in a ball and is very heavily creased.

I ordered the xxs and it was too loose, and the color is a light almost neon pink completely different than the photo and it's not flattering at all I would not reccomend
