The book is written in a way for the reader to better understand the book by explaining terminology as you go and highlighting vital key points to remember. But it can be quite intimidating for an absolute beginner. But take your time, breaks and keep pushing through. It has an appendix and glossary to touch-up or re-learn maths basics or terminology. The book finishes off with quizes to improve your knowledge — as Bloomsbury does, but I found that the quizes were quite difficult at the of the whole book as apposed to after each chapter (like in other Bloosmbury books). As a complex subject as this one, I think it should come after each chapter because of how heavy it can feel reading it at times. That way the knowledge is still quite relevant. I forgot some things. It's a lot to take in. I found a mathematical error: (I got it reviewed by a friend-of-a-friend that's an astrophysics student. They said its incorrect). Page: 249, Line: 30-31, Equation: " 6 ÷ (2 + 4) × 6 = 0 ". " (that is, 2 + 4 = 6 and 6 ÷ 0 x 6 = 0) ". The answer is supposed to be (6) according to myself, a calculator and an astrophysics student.
