Q: Is the lid hard to slide for a senior with not a lot of hand strength?

The lid is not at all hard to slide. It opens and closes easily, but without a lot of strength required. I love this unit better than any others I have bought throughout the years and I've wasted money on a lot of them.

Q: What are the dimensions of one of the compartments? (not day container, not entire unit)

Each of the 4 day compartments is over 1" in diameter in each dimension. Each is large enough to hold 9 Fish oil pills per compartment
