Not a great mix
Don't like leaving negative reviews but felt I had to as of the 20 strips in this bundle 2 were very specifically autumnal and 5 were Christmas prints, some with text so impossible to disguise within a design. Whilst they are lovely, I just don't associate batiks with snowflakes and Christmas so for me it renders 35% of the fabrics pretty much useless if you're not making a winter quilt. It would have been helpful to have been told in advance that there were Christmas fabrics in the bundle and then I could have looked elsewhere, so now I'm left with not enough fabric for my original plans and not enough wintry ones for a winter project.Also some of the designs (in particular the fruit designs are almost cartoony and not at all the elegant, subtle designs I expect from a real quality batik.I am really disappointed as I really was looking forward to receiving this bundle and now I'm left with 2 disparate piles of fabric- neither of which is enough for a design.If you're looking for classy, elegant batiks, this maybe isn't the bundle for you- it certainly isn't the bundle I was hoping to receive.
