Assembly sucks. Shovel seems good.
I have not been able to use it yet, because the weather predictions are wrong yet again! Still the shovel seems to be decent in its intent: lightweight and ergonomic. As for the assembly, this could easily have been a unibody design vs in parts. To assemble: ensure the hex screws are inserted along the downward facing side (aka you shouldn’t see them when shoveling). And, insert both screw and hex screw pairs at the same time - trying the manually connect by twisting with both hands. Then tighten via the Allen wrench on the hex screw. Note this is not how the easy instructions are written, but I could not get the thing assembled any other way. Plus it took me 30 minutes, when it should have taken 5 minutes max. This is likely due to inconsistent machine hole drills. So I cannot tell you how great of a shovel it is, but serious frustrations over the unneeded assembly.

Nice Shovel -- Zero Issues with Assembly
I’m giving this shovel 5 stars before actually using it, but it’s based on the quality of the shovel and the ease—yes, I said the ease—of assembly. The shovel just arrived, and I was able to assemble and then disassemble it within 10 minutes of it hitting my doorstep.Do not be fooled by the reviews (including the video) saying it’s hard to assemble. I assume those people are the reasons shampoo bottles have instructions. Assembly is easy if you simply match the numbered stickers to each other. One side of each hole is round and the other is square. The square side is for the screw with a corresponding square base which seats into the square on the metal. The nut is a long nut with a round base that is insisted into the round hole and then twisted with a hex wrench (provided) onto the screw which is held in place and unable to turn because the screw’s hole is square.I really don’t get it. It’s not as hard as people make it seem. Put the pieces together so that the I sticker is next to the I sticker, the II sticker is next to the II sticker, and the III sticker is next to the III sticker. Then insert the screws and the nuts in the holes in the only ways that let them fully seat in the holes. (Oh, the blue stuff someone commented on is thread lock. It’s a nice touch from the manufacturer. If you read that person’s review and recognized what that reviewer didn’t, then you’ll actually be able to assemble this with your eyes closed.)Anyway… assembly is easy, I managed to get a great deal on a Used-Excellent one, and I think it’s going to do a good job when the snow falls again next winter. Don’t hesitate simply because a lot of these reviewers are clueless.

Excellent shovel — sturdy, lightweight, and back-friendly!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a snow shovel that wouldn't leave my back hurting after clearing the driveway — and this one is perfect. The ergonomic handle design makes it super comfortable to use, even for longer sessions. It's lightweight but feels solid and well-built. The wide blade moves a lot of snow at once, saving time. Honestly, this shovel made winter cleanup way easier this year. Totally worth it!

Plastic shovel head and metal hardware, what could go wrong?
Like the title says, the shovel head is made of a hard plastic, and the tube that connects the shovel head to the handle has a square hole on the top to fit a squared metal bolt into. You have to rely on the hard plastic to keep its shape and hold the bolt in place as you insert a casing in from the other side for the squared bolt to screw into. I followed the instructions and started to screw it on and big surprise the square hole that is supposed to hold the bolt in place failed on the first turn. So now the shovel won’t tighten onto the handle, the bolt is spinning freely because the hole designed to hold it in place failed, and the bolt is set into the plastic so you cant even undo the thing and replace it with another bolt without mangling the shovel head. Here’s a thought for your product designer, maybe have a metal piece to insert into the hole so a material of equal hardness can hold the metal screw in place? Or maybe the bolt should have an insert on its head so you can hold it in place with an additional tool like a screw driver or Allen key instead of making it smooth? But what do I know? Long story short, not worth it.

Great quality and ergonomic — really saves your back!
I've been using this shovel all winter — it's lightweight, ergonomic, and surprisingly durable. The 18" wide blade makes it easy to clear driveways and walkways quickly. Assembly takes a bit of effort at first, but once it's put together, everything feels solid and reliable. Overall, a great investment: it reduces back strain, performs well, and holds up over time. Highly recommend!

Works great
The shovel is light and the design makes it easy to use. A real downside is the nuts and bolts used to put it together. This was more than a minor inconvenience. The bolts had some sort of blue substance on the threads which made it almost impossible to thread the nut on. I had to spray WD40 on the threads and put the bolt in a vice grip to force the nut on. There are some buyers who could accomplish this but my guess is that 75% of the public would not have had the necessary strength or equipment to assemble it. After it was assembled and put to use I found it to be the best snow shovel I have ever used.
