Bought these to give my son something to chew instead of his shirt. They actually stopped him from chewing all together. 🤷‍♀️ A win is a win! 5 months later: Velcro did not last very long. My son stopped chewing so we don’t use them anymore but if we did, I’d have to take them to a tailor to replace the Velcro patches.

Well made, comfortable and functional, and they've held up well in the laundry using a mesh bag to contain them in the machine and keep the velcro from sticking to other items. Just what I've needed for my adult son with sensory needs. He took to these necklaces right away and they've greatly reduced his tendancy to chew on his shirt collars. Highly recommend.

I bought these chew necklaces for my son who has sensory needs, and they have been a game-changer! The terry cloth material is soft and absorbent, perfect for teething and chewing. The variety of colors is great, and they are easy to clean. My son loves them and they have really helped him stay calm and focused. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a sensory solution!

Good cloth chew necklaces. Like the variety of colors. Good price. The velcro doesn't last after a few washes and the material thins out very quickly depending on how easy/hard the chewer is . It works and is effective for what it is, just wished the velcro & material lasted much longer for my child, considering he's a very heavy chewer and the cloth necklaces are the only sensory necklace his school lets them use.

I thought these were perfect as they immediately stopped our autistic 5 yr old from chewing his shirt collars. The downside- the Velcro didn’t last through one wash/low dry setting. You can see the Velcro melted, and it no longer fastens. Maybe if you air dry they will last longer… I gave them 3 stars bc they didn’t hold up to cleaning as instructed. Additional review- After a month, our 5 year old LOVES these necklaces. I’m about to order another set. Since the velcro doesn’t hold up to daily washing and little teeth chomping all the time, I’ve purchased large, colorful buttons. I easily remove the hard plastic side of the velcro with a seam ripper (which leaves an opening at the end which has to be closed). So I stitch the opening together, and see a large button in the center of where the hard velcro was. I leave the soft velcro side as it provides reinforcement for my button hole. I use an Xacto blade to cut a button hole slit through the soft Velcro, and voila, in less than 5 minutes, the closure problem is solved! I use buttons that are an inch in diameter and approximately 1.5 cm thick in order to keep them from being easily swallowed, but I also use extremely strong thread and sew them with a lot of reinforcement. I check the strength of the button each time I wash them, and so far, they have held up to our little guy’s constant chomping. These necklaces, while needing a better closure option, are well worth the price. They have saved his clothes from teeth holes. I’ve changed my initial review from 3 stars to 4 as the ONLY issue is the Velcro.

Soft material with some weight. Was accepted by child who is working to transition away from chewing the lovey. Working out well. I bought this instead of some of the others on Amazon because it looked like it was a little thicker. Comes in a vacuum sealed plastic bag.

These are great size, color and soft. They just arrived today and my 3 year old grandson has not wanted to use them yet. He’s always wanting to chew on his shirt or blanket and I’m hoping he will start to like these instead. The concept and functionality of these are great though.

It is a good quality item, thought it was gonna be thicker material; with it had arrived before my ex and I split up as it was for her son and the postage to send isn’t worth it after our break up
