Amazing product! Doesn’t come with a mesh screen, but the rood vent does so I suppose there is no need. Clear instruction for mounting, takes about 10 minutes. The material is high quality, will definitely withstand all road debris. The size covers the entire vent, my vent since it was second hand didn’t even have a vent cover to open and close it so having this product was essential for me to even use the vent. My vent was sealed off since it was missing the cover so don’t mind how ugly the roof is, I assure you the vent is actually working now. All the mounting hardware is included, I lost 1 of the washers and lock washers in a crack while fiddling with it but you can use whatever washer and lock washers you find that fits the bolt.

This was a happy replacement! Very easy to install, air flow is great, love the color and how well it fit on our RV.

These items were delivered quickly and of good quality. I chose white instead of black to not limit the light coming in my vents. The instructions were easy to follow and my first trip driving in a torrential downpour showed that they did not leak into my open vent. I love the idea of being able to leave my vents open when it is hot outside and I am off hiking. I was a bit unnerved to have to drill four holes in the metal sides of my existing vents for each vent cover. I will check the nuts and screws occasionally to make sure they have not come loose. I found that my job of centering the vent cover over the vent was made easier by drawing lines on my roof. I considered vent covers for quite some time and found that these were exactly what I expected. A good purchase at a fair price.

Great product and easy to install

Easy to install, look good, do the job, BUT, they don’t have any sort of screen or mesh over the vents to keep bugs out. I cut some pieces of screen and glued them inside the vent cover … problem solved. If I had it to do over I would have looked further for covers that included screen. I didn’t even think about it before ordering.

Ordered three to cover existing vent covers that perpetually degraded from UV exposure, even though the trailer was tarped for 6 months over the winter…..easy installation, place the cover over the vent, approximating a centered position, this is the most time consuming part , mark the locations through the vent holes on the roof, place the angle brackets over the roof markings and this will locate the position to drill on the vent frame. The washers that go on the inside of the vent frame may be problematic if you have a plastic frame protruding up the interior sides of the vent…..I found the washers fit by placing them on first, sliding the washer between the plastic interior trim and vent wall, place the screw from the outside in through the drilled hole through the washer, then expansion washer, then secure with supplied nut. The positioning and drilling take most of the time, securing with nuts is easy. Apply anti-seize paste to the outside bolts securing the cover to the angle brackets and do not over tighten to avoid cracking the cover.

These units were easy to install and increased our air flow. All required hardware was there. All I needed was tools.
