Great investment for safety.
These are MUCH better than trying to clean the old headlight assemblies. They come with new headlight bulbs ready to plug into the wiring harness. It takes a little bit of time to do the installation however you can do a search on youtube and see a video of the install. You have to remove a bunch of screws and undo some clips to remove the front grill. Once the installation was finished it was obvious how the scratched lens were impacting the transmission of light through the old discolored lenses. This made a huge difference and I think it's really important for safely to ensure you don't let these go too long. This price was extremely reasonable and the results were well worth the effort. I have a 99 Chevrolet Tahoe and all of these components fit perfectly. I personally wouldn't recommend using electric tools to install this as you could easily crack the plastic if you get carried away with the torque on the screws. One other tip I have is you do need to aim the lights after you do this installation. I didn't do that right away and the first time I used them I noticed they were pointing upwards. You have to get on level ground and point them at your garage door or other perpendicular surface and adjust one of the screws on top of the headlight assemblies to get them level. Aiming them isn't a big deal however you can't skip that step or you won't get the full benefit. There are no instructions with this so check out the installation and headlight aiming videos on youtube.

Great value, look great too
Fantastic deal. Very inexpensive, and includes everything including the bulbs. I had issues getting the old lamps out, but that was more due to the age of the lamps and the brush guard on the truck. The new ones go in without hassle once you get the old ones removed. My advice is that you park in front of a wall and turn your current headlamps on before starting, and mark with tape where the beams hit so you can adjust the new ones to point to the same place. If not, you may end up like me at first, with the lamps aimed too high, which can blind oncoming drivers and when you are by yourself on a dark road you won't be able to see anything. It is striking how little you can see if your lamps are pointed up too high. Of course, you could go thru the whole aiming process, or take it somewhere to get aimed after you install, but you will be able to get things lined up almost perfectly if you just take the time to mark where the light hits a wall before you start. You would of course need to mark where the vehicle was too if you move it in the meantime, but these do not take long to install so you should be able to get it all done at one time. After installing the new lamps, I can see much better than I could with the old cloudy ones. No need to add additional lighting like I was originally considering. If yours are cloudy, do yourself a favor and get these.

Inexpensive, looks great, and amazing packaging that you won't want to throw away. WTF is up with the packaging overkill. This company puts out a very high quality product and they look wonderful on my truck. Be VERY careful you pay attention to which part goes where or you will waste a lot of time during install. I'm not sharing my stupidity in that regard.

They look great, seem same quality as the OEM lights that came out. I would have given 5 stars, but one alignment tab didn't fit all the way into a mount until I filed it a little. Then went in fine. Set comes with the mounting block for the headlights, but I was too lazy to remove the old mounts. So I just installed the new lights in the old mounts. If I had replaced the mounts, I would not have had to file the tab on the light first. The mounts take 4 bolts to remove the old ones, and then install the new mounts. Then you install the lights into the mounts. It's best to remove the turn signals first, and while they are out replace the side marker and reflector, then the headlight (you need access through the turn signal to get to the headlight mount bolts). Finally, install the new turn signals. The headlights come with new bulbs, but the marker lights and turn signals do not.

Buy these rather than a restore kit.
I have a 1999 Chevy 1/2 Ton Suburban and these were great for the money. You have to take the grill out to get the housing out but that was only a few screws and some snap pieces of plastic. They even included low and hi beam headlight bulbs. The pins that hold the housing in, were extremely tight and very difficult to place in the truck. It took some maneuvering and force but it got in eventually. Also I would say is that if they’re going to include head light bulbs they should also include the parking light bulbs and side marker light mini bulbs. My old bulbs were so old the glass separated from the metal contacts.

The adjustment 'lock' bolts are like a 5
Not quite an exact match. These are made in China so the quality = 'you get what you pay for'. But if you are willing to work with them, they are made decently enough. The adjustment 'lock' bolts are like a 5.25mm or something-used a 5mm (too small-did not fit on the bolt) and a 5.5mm(too large-slipped and would not loosen/tighten) so I reused the originals. The mounting plates seemed brittle, so I reused the originals and they fit together just fine, nice and snug too. Turn signal lenses were a tight fit, be easy tightening the screws or they might strip out. The side reflectors/lights fit the grille opening fine, but the mounting studs are smaller than the originals and since you have to reuse the original pawl nuts, they do not mount securely- I kept the originals on the vehicle. Considering what I paid for them, they are not a bad deal and they are definitely brighter than the yellowed out originals, but if you are picky about the functionality, you will want to spend some extra time to make them fit and work properly. A bonus that I did not expect was that the headlight lenses came with new bulbs which was a nice surprise and they work great.
