ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 Crypto Cold Wallet, 100% Offline, Air-gapped - Secure Wallet for 10000+ Coins & Tokens & NFTs

I needed to get my crypto off coinbase as many experts recommended that you should store your investment in a hard wallet instead of on the exchange for the best security for your investment. The Ellipal titan 2.0 was super simple to set up and update. The first thing I did before setting up my account on the device was to update the firmware, since many amazon reviews stated they could not update the device. I went to the Ellipal website downloaded the firmware to the sd card included with the device, and followed the instructions on the website to update the firmware. I had no issues updating the firmware it was a very simple and straightforward process. In the documentation included with the device is a QR code to complete the setup of the Titan 2.0. I spent about an hour setting up, testing and transferring my crypto to the hard wallet that I set up on my phone with the Ellipal app. I thought it was going to be difficult to set up the device but this was not the case as the instructions for setting up the device were easy to follow. The Titan 2.0 seems like it is well built. It is solid and it has some weight to it, it seems to be a quality device. Overall I could not be happier with the unit.

Security is my top priority when it comes to storing crypto, and this cold wallet provides peace of mind by keeping assets completely off exchanges like Robinhood, Crypto.com, and Coinbase.Pros:Build Quality & Design – The wallet has a solid, durable feel, and its compact size makes it easy to handle.User-Friendly Interface – The touchscreen is responsive and intuitive, making navigation smooth and hassle-free.Security – As an air-gapped device, it adds an extra layer of protection against online threats.Setup Recommendations:Firmware Update – I highly recommend updating the firmware as soon as you open the box. It’s a quick process and adds an extra layer of security.Micro SD Card – The included SD card didn’t format properly, but after purchasing a new one, I had no issues updating the device. This was a minor inconvenience, but something to be aware of.Areas for Improvement:Screen Protector – Aligning the included screen protector was tricky. It would be great if Ellipal provided a second protector or sold them directly in their store. Fortunately, third-party options are available on Amazon.Overall, the Ellipal Titan 2.0 is an excellent cold wallet with strong security features, high-quality construction, and an easy-to-use interface. Aside from minor accessories-related issues, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to keep their crypto secure.

Item is well made (heavy, which can be a +\-) but the customer service is awful. Google “difficulty updating firmware” and see all the issues that people experience, and advice to attempt work around to solve the issue. I tried these attempts and finally gave up. I should not have to purchase a new item and spend money to try to get it to work. Customer service did offer $5 lol. Plenty of other great and better cold wallets. Avoid this one.

Looking for an air-gapped crypto wallet?The ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 Crypto Cold Wallet is so extremely security focused that it doesn’t support Bluetooth, WIFI, Ethernet, or USB inputs. The crypto wallet is solidly built with a non-removable metal body. Transactions are handed off to their app by QR codes. I’m not an expert on crypto security, but the wallet feels very secure for the following reasons:- Air gapped- No physical inputs like Ethernet or Bluetooth for someone to break into- Long pass phrases: (24/25 words)- 2FA: gesture or numeric pin- Self-destruct when detecting breaches (I didn’t test this feature)There are a couple of things I don’t like about the Ellipal wallet:- The charging docking station is cheap compared to the cold wallet. The docking station is plastic.- The firmware upgrade process is supposed to be quick and easy. It wasn’t for me. Instead of three minutes, it took more than an hour. The Titan cold wallet comes with a 16gb memory card that refused to update the Titan. After numerous reformatting of the card, I finally gave up and tried a few more memory cards in my inventory. The card that finally worked was a 4gb card formatted in FAT32 mode. (See photos)- The Titan wallet may not support your currency of choice. Great cold storage device. There is a learning curve if you don't have experience with these type of transfers but it's easy once you learn. Great price for a great product.
