A great DIY RC kit
The media could not be loaded. Tamiya make the best RC kits, easy to build with good instructions. This took me about 3 hours and I am a novice RC builder. This is a build it yourself kit so don't buy if you are expecting a built RC car. It's fast enough with the standard motor but might upgrade at a later date. Came with oil filled shocks which is a nice touch. Would recommend for newbies and older kids. Or middle aged men like me who wanted a toy to race my kids Grasshopper.

great first step into tamiya
of all my models (i have 5) this is the only model i can use in the garden when chasing the grandkids around, typical Tamiya quality and well worth the wait (bought from Amazon Germany) for a very good price.

WOW this Tamiya DT03 buggy is exceptional value for money I've actually purchased two so I can build and race with my son these kits come with several hop ups which include a Torque tuned motor, a 16pc ball bearing set, DT-03 CVA Damper set just to name a few and all for £85

Completely misleading don’t buy this product.
This product has been sent straight from the factory in every small piece imaginable. You are expected to put the entire car to together. And yet it does not state any of this in the product description. On top of this there is no remote control packaged with it as you have purchase it separately! An absolute rip off. DO NOT BUY!

Excellent value, this buggy is brilliant
Excellent buggy, great fun and easily upgraded. I run a 2 a lipo on the torque tuned motor as the 3s made it wheelie everywhere. Fun build and great for a first time build only took me 3 hours to build and that’s with the upgrades I had ready to fit. So much fun and spares and upgrades are readily available. Highly recommended. Great build quality from Tamiya yet again.

Great car ,for the price it's being sold. 😀
Great to build, use a 19t pinion and this set. I just found this on AliExpress:1:10 1:12 1:14 RC Part Waterproof F540 4370KV Brushless Motor W/60A ESC .The speed is absurd,it does even wheelies. 😂

Euro import - no problem
Got this at £85 as one of Amazon’s Euro imports, as opposed to an official UK sourced one (at another £30+).I saw the notices that specs may differ, but it was really unclear as to what that meant.I got:1) The CVA shocks, which is one of the UK standard hop-up parts.2) The Torque Tuned motor, which is one of the UK ‘upgrades’ over base.I’d have been pretty bummed if they hadn’t been included.3) Carson Dragster ESC - which is a rebranded Hobbywing 1060. This *is* different to the UK spec (which has a Tamiya ESC), but it is pretty equivalent. The Carson is a better choice if you want to run LiPos (the Tamiya ESC voltage sensor is a bit marginal for LiPo), but the Carson only runs brushed motors - which is fine in the short term as the kit includes a brushed motor - but the UK spec Tamiya ESC supports brushless. As I say, about the same outcome! All in all, very pleased and just wanted to share the specs that I received, as I was apprehensive about the potential differences.
