I lost the retainer ring on my DeWalt impact wrench and this fit perfectly. easy instructions and installed in seconds. Great value and fit!!

I installed one on a Milwaukee mid size 18V impact several months ago. The gun is used a lot assembling machinery. The ring initially was too strong and was hard to install and remove sockets. After a week or so I lightly brushed on it with a die grinder until sockets went on and off easier. Since then the gun has been heavily used, and the ring has not changed at all. The OEM rings I have purchased in the past at way higher expense wear completely out in same amount of time that this one has been in service. I also bought the 3/8" kit, and had similar results with them, except they fit properly from the start without trimming down. The tool also mikes it way easier to install the rings.

Well, it fit my gun. Got this as a reactive purchase after climbing down the ladder enough times to switch to a ball detent ratchet. Seems like the socket fits on the gun and doesn’t come loose easy anymore. Time will tell if the ring holds up, but I’m happy with this as I use my gun a good amount.

Good kit to fix any 1/2” air gun or impact gun, pliers are a little cheap but what do you really expect. Overall 4 out of 5 starsWould recommend to any one who needs this item

Only problem found anvils on tool not large enough,to really grip rings

FIXED MY INGERSOLL RAND 1/2" DRIVE. WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND SO SIMPLE TO FIX AND INSTALL. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
