I've been working out more lately, and the sweat was starting to make me break out, so I decided to give these kojic soap bars a try. When I first opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the scent. It's got a nice, subtle citrusy smell that's not overpowering like most other bar soaps. Most other ones have some chemical type fragrances that make me sneeze. The texture of this soap is also nice, soft and smooth, not chalky or gritty. One pleasant surprise was that they include a little mesh net in the box with the soap bars. I usually use bottled soap, so I thought I'd have to buy a separate soap dish for these. But you can just use the included mesh net, and hang it right on your shower handle. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in terms of ease of use. You can also leave the soap inside the mesh net while showering, no need to remove it, you can work up a lather right in the mesh net, it foams into your hands, then hang it back up when you're done. But the real test was obviously how well it actually cleaned my skin, especially after workouts, and so far this soap has been really good at getting rid of oil and grime. Since I started using it, I've noticed improvement in breakouts and blemishes. My skin just feels cleaner and healthier overall. Definitely exceeded my expectations, and I think they're worth a try for anyone looking for a quality natural soap. Way cheaper than the ones at the store too, so that's a big plus.

Soap is low in lather you don’t need much purifies the skin and makes it look whiter,, it seems to tighten the skin as well, one bar will last a while, good value for your money

I bought this soap especially because I wanted to remove dark spots from my face. I was expecting it to smell bad (since every product I get for dark spots usually smells strange), but surprisingly this smells so good! It also comes with two soaps, which made the price even better! I will be buying it again, I have been using it for a month and I already see great improvement on my skin.

I ordered this soap because it was made with natural substances. When I received it and began using it, I loved the way it felt on my skin. I have never used a bar soap that feels so good. I honestly forgot that it is diminishes dark spots until yesterday. I am on my 2nd bar and when I looked in my car mirror yesterday the dark spot on my left cheek was almost gone. I rubbed on it thinking make up was still there from the morning application but it wasn't, the dark spot is almost gone. I began looking at the right side of my face and the patch of dark spots are almost gone. I am 64 years old and just thought this was something I would have to live with.I have tried many other lotions and chemical peels but nothing worked. It does not work overnight. I have been washing my face in the morning and night with this soap for at least 2 months, maybe longer. I am totally amazed!!!!I love this soap and hope to be able to use it for the rest of my life!!

This soap is advertised as organic. It is not. It has a very strong scent and has added fragrance and FD&C yellow and red. I wish I would have noticed that before I ordered. I would not have ordered if I had. Buyer beware. Very disappointed.

The soap has a light scent and cleans well, but I haven’t noticed any dark spot correction after several weeks of daily use.
