I loved this project. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a beautiful image and having painted my own makes it extra special. It was easy to do and took about 4 days. I'm in the process of having it professionally stretched onto a frame.The canvas came creased and I had to iron it out. Easily done.Once ready, I prepared my workspace and hated to stop. I probably worked about 5 hours a day.The individual pots of paint (22 colors with #22 in 2 pots as it covers a lot of the canvas) were in excellent shape and provided no problems.Like in most Paint-by-Number kits, the included brushes were just terrible and I threw them away, preferring to use my better quality brushes.Update 5/20/24: I painted the desert scene too. I finished yesterday and while it's not my best work, I do love the final result. It came with such beautiful colors that shows the desert in the colors of a setting sun. I did get a little tired of it because it had so many small areas to cover. I never ran out of paint (24 colors), but I did have to add a little bit of warm water to them so they'd spread smoothly.Once framed, I'm going to hang it in the living room over the loveseat.

Very pretty painting, lots of small details. The only caveats are that I needed to purchase a variety of micro detail brushes, I had the this the paints frequently so I could get into small spots.I don’t know if this is common, but my painting was doubled on top of itself and slightly off in a lot of places, it won’t change the end result too much but some areas are really hard to paint. It does come with a key so that’s a huge help.

Things to stay busy in these cold months

It's hard to see the numbers and the patterns.

Only thing I didn't like is running out of the paint provided. Having to mix your own to get it to match can be difficult at times.

Very good quality. I mounted the canvas to a price of plywood after ironing it. They cheaped out on the #22 black

the canvas was great, the paint was not. Not enough paint for some areas and dried paint in several. To finish I may have to order the kit completely over again.
