Converted from GHDs
The panic started when my out of warrantee GHD's failed to heat up and I had nothing to tame my very thick unmanageable frizz. I have used GHD's for the last 15 years and instantly went to the website to order a new pair but was instantly put off by the £165 price tag for some of their newer models. The £109 I payed for my last pair seemed enough and I really wasn't prepared to just buy them on a whim without checking out other options.I ready a very useful review on a comparison website about the best 'non GHD models' and the Corioliss C3 came out with very high marks. I already have a Corioliss hairdryer which has been great so I knew their products were reliable, but I wasn't sure if they'd sort my frizz! I checked a You Tube clip of someone using them and decided that they looked up to the job and for £81 (Half the price of the GHDs) I bought them.They arrived the next day via Amazon Prime. I was pretty eager to see if they were any good and was not disappointed.Packaging and the box they arrived in was very professional looking. I had been concerned that they would come with a two pin plug as the product description suggests but was pleased to see it was actually a 3 pin that can be unscrewed to reveal a 2 pin when you go on holiday.Plugged them in - pressed the power button and the blue lights lit up. Thy reached temperature very quickly. Started off on the lowest heat setting and they had no problem getting my hair poker straight. There was no drag or snagging and with only one run through each section my hair was straight. In my honest opinion they were better than my GHDs. My hair stayed straight despite a really foggy, drizzly day.The titanium plates are floating so you can curl and wave with them, there was no difference between the waves the C3 made and my previous GHD model.The only criticism I would have is that they don't feel quite as solid as the GHDs - having said that they are lighter and the cord is longer.So for any GHD fans who are maybe feeling like a change, I would 100% recommend the Corioliss C3 as a like for like model.

FFF = Frizz Free Forever
My hair is frizz city even if I open the oven . These straighteners are brilliant . I have the c2's and have had them for 6 years both my daughter's have borrowed them and I did not think they could be improved upon . C3's you have enhanced the good quality and shown me that straight hair by corioliss is the way forwards curly and frizz free .

Looks good, slim and light. temperature control works simplyDon’t seem as sturdy as GHDs, and the wrap/case isn’t great quality- but all good for now, will see how long they last

Excellent product
I have always had Ghd's but there are fantastic. I love the four heat settings and as I have really curly hair and frizzy I use the hottest setting. I would definitely recommend these straighteners. Great Value for money.

Reduction in Quality With Corioliss?
Has the Corioliss quality dropped in recent years? Bought as a replacement to my 10yro sadly now dead C2’s, these C3’s are not a patch on the C2’s, not even close!* The temperature is not nearly as adjustable as the previous model (only 3 setting on this model), and even at 185° (which is 5° over what I used my C2’s at!) my hair is not getting adequately straightened, yet I’m getting breakage from the higher heat. I can’t turn them down as the only lower setting is 135° which is no use to man nor beast :-(.* My hair doesn’t run so smoothly through them compared to the C2’s, these feel more “tuggy” - I note the plates are shiny silver-steel in colour on this model, compared to the smoked-steel colour on the C2’s.* The cable is much shorter AND thicker/heavier that the cable on the C2- annoying when you’re used to a longer lighter cable.* They feel heavier- I bought the carbon fibre model, perhaps naively thinking they would be lighter. I was wrong :-/In all I am very disappointed given the price paid and my previous experience with Corioliss which has been faultless.Delivery etc was excellent and super quick.

Got this for my wife as she was sick of her GHDs and she loves them and she thinks they are really good. A good move she thinks so would recommend.Good fast service

Faulty device - had to return
It arrived on time but it did not work properly as the heat setting lights on the side showed only the 2 bars showing, regardless of what you set the heat to. I returned it for a full refund. I question whether they were the genuine article as surely such a costly device would have certain quality checks in place to prevent it being sent out faulty...

Variable Temperature
These straighteners are ideal as they have a variable temperature so the hair is not damaged by too high heat. The long ceramic plates are ideal for all hair lengths.

Bestes Glätteisen ever
Ich glätte seit 10 Jahren meine Haare, oder besser gesagt: muss meine Haare glätten. Darum war ich immer auf der Suche nach einem guten Glätteisen und habe nun schon viele Marken und Materialien durch. Zuletzt hatte ich ein Braun Satin Care 7 davor ein ghd und war nie so recht zufrieden. Vor allem das Braun erreichte für mich nie die Hitze die ich brauchte, das Glätten dauerte biszu 1 h.Ich muss dazu sagen meine Haare sind recht lang (ca. bis zum unteren Rücken), dick + viel und zudem noch mit blonden Highlights und Naturwelle - eine echte Herausforderung also ;)Der Preis ist mir bei einem so täglich wichtigem Gerät egal, toll aber trotzdem dass es so günstig ist.Nun mir das wichtigste: Das Carioliss liegt gut in der Hand und ist leicht. Es ist schnell heiß und gleitet einfach und vor allem schnell (!!) durch die Haare (hier sind natürlich die Grundsätze des Glättens wie immer peinlich zu beachten ansonsten gibt es bei jedem Glätteisen verbrannte Haare....). Für mich reicht bei 99% trockengeföhnten Haaren die Mittlere Stufe 3/5 (so wie auch das Gerät startet), bei ganz trockenen nehme ich die 4/5. Die höchste Stufe würde ich meiden, denn damit habe auch ich mit meinen dicken Haaren Probleme und es riecht leicht verkokelt...Derzeit brauche ich max. 20-25 Minuten für all meine Haare - das ist echt Rekord!

Auf der Suche nach einem Glätteisen das 230 °C schafft, bin ich auf das Corioliss C3 Carbon Fiber gestoßen. Unbeeindruckt von den Negativbewertungen habe ich mutig auf Bestellen geklickt. Nach über 2 Wochen warten ging das Paket leider verloren und kam nie an. Ein Zeichen? Kann passieren. Das Neue war schnell bestellt und ebenso schnell eingetroffen.Beim Auspacken war ich nicht so begeistert. Die Platten liegen nicht gleichmäßig aufeinander. Hinten ist mehr Spielraum zwischen den Platten als Vorne (siehe Foto). Die Knöpfe sind ziemlich wackelig. Naja, wenn es gut funktioniert kann ich über so etwas hinwegsehen.Was ich sehr gut fand ist die Länge der Platten sowie die Länge des Kabel.Aber beim Einschalten die Böse Überraschung. Zwei LEDs haben blau geleuchtet und das Linke hektisch rot geblinkt. Beim Versuch die Temperatur auf 3 oder 4 LEDs zu erhöhen oder auf 1 LEDs zu verringen hat sich einfach nichts getan (siehe Video). Von daher für mich völlig unbrauchbar. Ich hätte mich auf die negativen Bewertungen hier ruhig verlassen dürfen.Einen Stern gibt es für das schöne Design. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich ein einwandfrei funktionierendes Produkt.

Tengo estas planchas desde hace más de un año y me dejan el pelo perfecto. Tengo un cabello ondulado con tirabuzones y con tendencia a encresparse y sin duda no me lo peinaria con ningunas otras
