TDK ST170 Stereo Over-Ear Headphones with In-Line Microphone - White

I was surprised at the high quality of the phones and the sound quality for the price. I've had a slight issue with the phone jack when at the gym and it seems a bit sensitive to movement at the joint - not sure if this is with my I-phone socket or the jack plug but it keeps pausing mid song if the connector gets tweaked during exercise. Ill check this out with the supplier . The in line control only pauses the song and doesn't do the volume. Cant complain for this price and its so much better excluding all the outside noise from the gym's speakers and chronic music.

Seems to be good quality sound and like the single cable but quite tight on your head and hurts ears after an hour due to this.

Amazing sound quality, noise cancelling and great value for money. Bought for my brother and am definitely going to be buying myself a pair. Best over-ear headphones I've ever come across. 10/10Delivery was also speedy and signed for.

Fantastic sound quality... when it works. Bought a few years ago and they stopped working within a month or two, blamed it on the phone. Bought another pair less than a month ago and within about a week and a half the cable stopped working! I've had to bend it in the perfect position and if it moved slightly (like typical movement on a bus) it stopped working again. Trying to figure out if it came with warranty but I doubt it.

The item is great and I used it for a long time. Eventhough I only used them at the office (8-10h/day) after a few months they started doing some crackling sounds once in a while and as months passed it got a bit worst until the moment that they started to work only with the cord on certain positions. The coord still looks good and other phones work well so I know its the headphones. Found it odd since they were only used at the office so the cord isn't folded often and such.Other than that, the sound is great for the price you pay, item is as described and would advise for the regular daily usage!

Was impressed with the quality of this Headphone. Its loud, not noisy; with a bit of bass to it too.It also fits comfortably when worn and its flexible to head adjustments.The mic is also clear. Take caution though, the mic control is at odds with Android OS on LG G4c. Clicking the button could do anything beside what its supposed to do i.e. picking/ending a call. Can't say the same for other phones.So here is the main problem, i've only been using it for a month and half and their is a short in the wire, consequently affecting the mic and sound quality. I guess its not as durable as i had hoped. Its only a matter of time before it fails entirely. Such a waste.

I bought these for our thirteen year old daughter. She spends a LOT of time talking on the phone and watching videos. These headphones are great. I've since bought myself a pair. The only downside is that if you wear them for a couple of hours, they feel really tight.

Good sound from them but it's just a shame the rubber pads are small. If you wear glasses you may need to adjust position so they don't push into your ears. Also a heads up they are mainly for iphones or samsung galaxy series. Apart from that they are perfect.

Der TDK ist ein sehr leichter und kompakter Kopfhörer. Da muss schon erwähnt werden, denn viele Kopfhörer, die preislich noch eine Null hintendran haben und natürlich auch deutlich besser klingen, sind schwer und klobig.Die Zielgruppe für diesen Kopfhörer ist aber die mobile Generation und nicht der Klassik-Fan, der stundenlang mit dem Kopfhörer vor dem Kamin sitzt.Gemessen am Preis ist der Klang hervorragend. Nein, auch unabhängig vom Preis ist der Klang als deutlich, differenziert, nicht zu bass-lastig und nicht zu schrill zu bezeichnen. Um noch einmal den Vergleich zu bemühen: Klar klingt ein großer Sennheiser, JVC oder was anderes "teures" noch luftiger und detaillreicher in den Mitten und den Höhen. Doch das ist ein Höreindruck, der sich beim direkten Vergleich ergibt.Wer den TDK aufsetzt, wird einfach seine Musik in sehr guter Klangqualität hören. Setzt man die Klangqualität in Bezug zum Gewicht, ist der TDK sogar unschlagbar und auf jeden Fall der Gewinner. Aber auch der lederumkleidete Kopfbügel und die Lederohrmuschel lassen nicht vermuten, in welcher Preisklasse der Hörer eigentlich rangiert!Das Mikrofon und die Schalttaste funktionieren mit meinem Samsung S4 tadellos. Der Stecker hat eine fest sitzende und unlösebare Metallhülse. Stecker sind ja oft die Schwachstelle beim Dauerbetrieb, DIESER Stecker macht auf mich einen sehr vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck.Im rauhen Alltag möchte man vielleicht ohnehin nicht einen Hörer mitnehmen, dessen Preis den des Smartphones um ein vielfaches übersteigt. Da muss der Hörer mal in der Tasche verstaut werden, man rumpelt wohin und und und. Den TDK kann man da ruhigen Gewissens mitnehmen, denn obwohl es schade wäre, diesen Hörer zu ruinieren - der finanzielle Verlust hielte sich in Grenzen.Wenn man mäkel möchte, dann allenfalls über die etwas knappe Passform. Ich habe wohl einen dicken Schädel (Hutgröße 62) und einen dicken Hals (Kragenweite 43), so dass der um den Hals gelegte Hörer dann doch schnell irgendwie am Kehlkopf drückt und eher unangenehm ist. Hilfreich ist, die Hörmuscheln nach außen zu drehen, dann hat der Hals mehr Platz. Man sieht dann zwar aus wie die Privatpatrouille des Geheimdienstes - aber für mich ist das die einzige Möglichkeit, den Hörer um den Hals und NICHT auf den Ohren zu tragen.Die Hörmuscheln sind sehr klein und sitzen AUF dem Ohren, sie umschließen diese NICHT. Dennoch ist die Dämpfung des Umgebungsschalls beträchtlich.Für den Alltag mag es sinnvoll sein, einen Hörer zu haben der NICHT gerade WEISS daherkommt, da helle Sachen auf kurz oder lang immer etwas schmuddelig werden können. Aber das weiß man vor dem Kauf.Insgesamt kann man bei diesem Hörer eigentlich nur eines falsch machen: Ihn nicht kaufen.

I use these in my classroom for my students to be able to listen to music and take notes on videos. They all like the sound and claim that they are premium headphones. Some even asked if they could use them outside the classroom for listening around campus.

Much more comfortable than ear buds; I use them for phone and streaming videos on my Amazon Fire; sound quality is perfect. Great value for $!
