ideal for soup making
They are a good quality split pea, I use them to make pea and ham soup which I love during the colder months.

Not sure whats wrong with them....
I've cooked these peas to death and I can't get them to go soft. I've also tried pre-soaking them and pre-cooking them prior to using them in my recipes but they are still hard. That makes them pretty much unusable. Save your money and steer well clear.
