Ambutech Marshmallow Roller Tip: 1/2 Inch Slip On Style by Ambutech

Two or three years ago, I bought an Ambutech folding cane with the Marshmallow Roller. I tested a friend's cane at a conference and loved it. So, I got one and loved it. They wear well, I walk a lot sometimes 5 to 6 miles per day and find I have to replace a worn down nylon roller once or twice a year! This is the push on model and slides on over the existing button tip.The only problem I've ever had was when I was bored waiting for my bus, I was standing still and lifting up my cane vertically and inch or two and dropping it on the directly on the roller making a sound on the pavement to the beat of the music I was listening to. It was a bad habit and I started to do it frequently when bored! That roller didn't last nearly as long cause it quit rolling - I damaged the bearings long before I wore the tip down.Well I quit that bad vertical tapping to music habit or sending Morris code messages with my cane and haven't had any premature roller failures since.This slip on version slips over the original little button hook tip on my folding cane and on my fiberglass cane.

Size not too big.

This is still the best cane tip for those individuals that wish to use the constant contact technique or that might do a little off sidewalk adventuring. First roller tip I used was four years old when it finally just gave up it’s ghost. This cane tip is light enough not to throw off any Kane experience and isn’t so bulky that it gets caught and things easily. After years of all the goodies getting jammed up in the ball bearings that canes and counter, this tip still rolled just as well as it did on day one.

I have been ordering these for years and this is the best one yet!

I only give this a bad review because I'm having trouble getting it on my cane. Oh and also, it took forever to get here.

I am legally blind and the tip of my cane was constantly getting stuck on different surfaces.I don't have much balance and would stumble and nearly fall a lot.

Has lasted about 6 months in the new england weather so far. It's going to need to be replaced soon however. Not the best brand I've had, but the canes themselves are great so it's worth it for me. :)

The Marshmallow tip is great! Rolls smoothly, sturdy and hooks on great. I will be back to purchase more.
