Strong Sound Weak Connection
There are really two separate issues to talk about here. Lets just dive right into the scathing negativity. The absolute worst thing about these headphones and why I've deducted 2 stars is because the port that this will connect to your phone on is unbelievably weak. Prepare to have this slip out of the port, lose connection, and stop playing music several times on even a short, casual walk. I cannot even imagine trusting this to go on a jog with. Seriously the smallest provocation will dislodge the USB-C port and you'll no longer have any audio. As an aside Amazon can't verify my purchase because I got mine from the Google Store. With the bad out of the way, lets dig into the good. You might look at these and think the price is high, and yes, it certainly is. Is it too high? That is a hard question to answer. I consider myself an audiophile, and on the strength of its sound alone, it rivals my best headphones. The bass is unbelievable for the little size of these in-ear headphones. You can feel the music deeply in your bones. And it does a deceptively good job of blocking out external noise as well. Also, these come with different ear fittings so you can find one that is just right for you. The way these jam into your ear do take a bit of getting used to. I had to kind of play with them right to get them to stay in. But its a good design once you figure it out, and I'm fairly certain its done this way to enhance the audio experience.I would give these a 5/5 if they didn't pop out of the socket with a stern look.

and recommend them to anyone looking for decent USB-C headphones
I bought these to use with my Google Pixelbook and was impressed by both the sound quality and the noise cancellation. I had some issues with the microphone during video calls, but they sent me a replacement pair with no questions asked when I reported the problem. I would definitely buy these again, and recommend them to anyone looking for decent USB-C headphones.

I've had nothing but problems with these. They worked ...
I've had nothing but problems with these. They worked for a day or two and then my Pixel 2 just stopped recognizing them at all no matter what I did (restarts, removing software, etc). Libratone customer support wouldn't process an RA without the original receipt, and these were a gift, so since I felt uncomfortable asking the gifter for their receipt, and even though I have the serial number and the defunct headphnes, I just have a pair of very expensive headphones that don't work at all. I think it's mind-blowing that these retail for $149 and they function so poorly.

The sound is excellent....until the problems start. 3 strikes and you're out!!
Bought these with excitement as I'd never had a premium headphone that did not require a jack and could fit directly into my usb-c phone jack. I was happy with the headphone sound quality but rather quickly the metal piece where the headphone attached to the phone began to slip out. It was just a little loose at first and I was able to get through a podcast with minimal interruption but as time went by if I was moving at all (walking or shifting my sitting position) the headphones would disengage. After about 10 months these became pretty unusable. Not an impressive performance for headphones that cost in excess of $100. Strike 1.I wrote to the company and was contacted back quickly by someone named Albin. They asked for my proof of purchase which I provided and then in a couple of days indicated they would replace the headphones but that they were currently out of stock.I asked when they estimated they would have them in again and they said they did not know. I found this pretty disconcerting as I was now without usable headphones and given no timeline. Strike 2I wrote to the company again after a full month of hearing nothing and did not get contacted back. After another full month I wrote back again. This time I was told that they were still out of stock but that at this point I was no longer in warranty and they would not be able to do anything for me. Strike 3.What an incredibly frustrating experience. I would definitely look elsewhere for headphones. Several reviewers have mentioned the slipping out of the attachment. I should have heeded these warnings. But if this alone is not enough to convince you to look for headphones from another company then please heed my warning about their customer service. Completely and utterly useless. Avoid this company at all costs.

I got these through Project Fi (Google Store).I lament the loss of headphone jack in modern phones.1) For $149 you'd think they could supply a case / pouch something to put the headphones in, so one could toss them in a back pack etc... But no, Libra tone is too stingy for that, gotta wow 'em with some pregnant packaging...2) Pregnant packaging...these headphones, un-boxing them you'd think it was flagship smart phone. Actually, the Pixel 2 XL packaging was a great deal more efficient. The packaging of these things is just plain wasteful.3) I gotta install an app? Was not expecting it, but you made a choice to require that, OK I'll go along, I suppose it's for the noise cancelling? Seems it could have been made standalone within the hardware - but whatever, I install the app...4) Fire up the app...I have to login to an account? really? Wow, that's some Orwellian sh1te right there. These things were almost enough to have me returning them - but there seems to be a dearth of alternatives at the moment, in my limited searching. So I find myself going full sheeple: Track me, Libratone, although I'm disabling all access I can for your wonderful app.I miss my old Sennheiser Momentums - full featured analog goodness with enough Android skills to get the job done, and done well. Alas - left them on a plane in Finland, and who knows if that analog button voodoo works with the USB-C new world order.

USB-C won't stay plugged in, stay away.
USB-C slips out of the phone, and it won't stop. Can't walk, run, or ride a bike with these on. Other plugs work fine in my phone, including the adapter for the old style Apple headphones. I don't know how they failed to notice this loose plug, but it ruined my bike ride when it kept slipping out and causing crazy stutter audio. What a waste of money, time, and effort for $150 pieces of plastic.
