Astonish C1926 Fabric Refresher Trigger Spray, 750ml

We were given a lovely but smelly shag area rug that had been stored for years, compounded with both dog & cig smoke smell. Yuck. Giving it a good clean with a carpet machine didn't help alleviate the smell, nor did carpet foam from a tin. We took it outside & scrubbed it with a Fairy liquid solution & later Zoflora, hosing it down & allowing to dry in the sun... still the musty smell remained. We finally gave up on washing it & opted for Astonish, giving it a quick mist on the surface. FINALLY - the remaining smell disappeared straight away! It performed exactly as needed - plus it's approved by Cruelty Free International.

I love this product for freshening up my home. It's lovely spritzed on curtains and bedding. Super clean smell. Really good price too. I find it to be better than Frebreeze.

Moved a sofa that was musky and smokey sprayed on at night before bed (does leave this quite wet as others said) but no problem. In the morning dry and no signs of old smells. So far so good so we will see in a few days if this actually neutralises these old smells or covers it over for a few days. No complaints so far and worth a try for anyone with similar issues. I guess a lot depends on how deep the smells are rooted in furniture but if it stays like this after a few days then will defo use again.

Well priced however the scent is light. Not always a bad thing as I don’t like synthetic or overpowering “masking” products but it could have a tad more fragrance to use on sofas and carpets that need a “boost”

The nice smell doesn't last long enough for me.

I was sceptical because of the price but omg… it smells like fresh washing. I have a velvet chair that I’m on most days because I work from home and this has just made it smell so fresh! Works excellent on bedding if you want a mid-week freshen up! Doesn’t stain, takes around 10-15 mins to dry which is worth it!

Was looking for a light spray to freshen up our sofas, especially when we have guests coming! This does exactly that; it's a really nice clean scent when it's sprayed on. It dries fairly quickly, maybe an hour or two and then by the next day the fabric just has a neutral smell (rather than a weird mix of the spray smell trying to compete with the old smell, which is what I was worried about). Will definitely be getting more when we run out.

I bought this to help refresh some old pillows. While it works well and got the foosty old pillow smell out, I am not so keen on the cotton fresh scent. If you like linen smells such as cotton fresh or laundry fresh then you will like the smell of this product. This product does work well on fabrics !
