Have definitely been putting this fan to the test in a warm London apartment these recent Summer weeks! It's a powerful fan of solid construction, effective value for money and the lowest setting is quiet - though not silent - doesn't scare the Cats which was key. It's optimal cooling efficiency (particularly vs imperceptibility) is definitely in smaller rooms like the bedroom or office as it's descriptive suggests, but it commendably reduced the peaking 30 degree heat temp down in the living room within minutes at its fullest level. Recommend!

I brought this fan after my other brands charging port became dodgy & it wouldn't charge any more. My previous fan was either a 9inch or a 10in & it had 3x speed settings on & the lowest setting was just a slight breeze which was perfect for when I had it on to sleep at night with (my GP medications have hot flushes & sweats as a side effect of taking them) but the lowest setting on this fan is definitely more than just a slight breeze, it's more of a sticking your head out of a moving car's window kind of level) & makes you quite cold (even when it's not summer). This is the only thing that is disappointing to me, other than that, it's a great adjustable, multidirectional & portable fan & is amazing for those hot & sticky summer days & night's. If your looking for a slight breeze fan then this would do the trick if it's not too close to your face but unfortunately, I'm not able to clip it onto anything further away from me. The clamp is extremely sturdy & firm (you can see it's not cheaply made which is a real bonus unlike some other fans) but I do have to use two hands to open the clamp fully to clip it on to the mount attached to my bedside table where I have it.

This fan is very powerful and quite Silent. We have it our Bedroom and we direct the wind flow towards the ceiling. It sits about 3 feet from the base of our bed and in hot weather it is running all night long. It is so quiet that we can sleep with being disturbed by it at all. The Air flow hits the ceiling and bounces back down and lands all over our bed keeping us nice and cool. The cool air just feels like very soft breeze falling on you and is lovely and cool. This fan is so good I have just ordered another one for the Living Room. So now we will be cool day and night all through the summer.

It's a decent fan and definitely shifts a lot of air on it's higher speeds. Feels well made but I'm not sure I'd call it particularly quiet - I've also got it's smart bigger brother which is noticeably quieter . I'd certainly hear it in my bedroom but luckily it's sat in my office so much less of an issue. I hadn't realised it didn't oscillate which was a bit of a surprise but that's down to me. It's got mechanical controls which means that as I've got it plugged in to a smart socket, Alexa can switch it on and off as required and it starts back up at the speed you turned it off at.

Max level blows pretty hard, sits well on a small table, looks good. The Tilt is limited kinda too 'loose' other than at the 5 'stop's or notches but serves okay. Weird controls goes from Stop to level 3 max rpm to level2 to level 1 min rpm. Odd settings choice as usually people prefer things to scale upwards in a progression rather than jump from zero to max. Level 1 is a very gentle breeze you can easily feel up to 10ft and good for close up, and quiet enough to work or not be disturbed. Level 2 is good to carry across a medium living room, easy to feel breeze up to 15ft and is just topping reasonable volume, TV will need to be at a robust volume. Level 3 is too loud for most occasions and without oscillation a bit too strong for close proximity impact yet can't carry enough volume, across an decent area across a larger room to make it a very useful setting most of the time. Pricy for the result in that it lacks subtle customisable controls/settings gets too loud but is better than 90%(?) of competition all round. Good enough to keep if you settle. Almost no one seems capable in manufacturing of ticking all the boxes these days.

Sturdy. Well made. Feel like a quality product. Not quiet but quiet usually means weak effect. Even on lowest setting, fan power is great. No remote but its not a deal breaker.
