Hylite Heater Guards were developed to protect against direct contact with tubular heaters including the Hylite Eco Tube Heater range. However, their easy-clean, high quality, enamel finish and robust manufacture also make them ideal for use in protecting against any hot surface including floor level lighting and heated pipes. Manufactured in high grade, pressed steel, fixing is simple - just attach to a wall or solid substrate using the pre-drilled fixing holes on the outer edges of the guards. Approx. dimensions: 305mm (L) x 100mm (H) x 190mm (W) Review: I thought this was a little overpriced when I bought it but I am pleased to say that it is well made and strong. It’s larger than I expected but fits a 1 foot heater well. You don’t get any sort of fixing kit, but that’s not really an issue. Worth getting for the safety aspects. Review: Great product, but I just wanted to note for anyone else that although the measurement images state that it's 100mm (10cm) wide, it's actually 24cm, with a 19cm usable gap for your heater. This is actually great news, as most tube heaters ask for a 10cm gap above and below them, which this guard almost provides. So all in all I'm glad I took the risk, and hopefully this info helps anyone else.
