Fibropool Swimming Pool Diverter Valve - 1 1/2 Inch - 3 Way - Replacement Slip Valve for Pools and Spas White

We have a tankless water heater with a condensate drain line vented to the outside of our house (required by local building code) through our garage wall. When it remains below freezing outside for more than a day the condensate drain line would freeze solid, blocking the drain line which then automatically shuts-off the tankless water heater when the condensate backs-up inside the unit. I had two choices to remedy this problem: 1.) Go outside in the sub-freezing weather on a twice daily basis and chip the ice out of the frozen drain line to allow it to drain, OR 2.) Install this 3-way diversion valve in-line in the condensate drain line inside our garage and simply drain the condensate in to a bucket in our always-above-freezing garage for the few very cold days every year when this is an issue. I chose option 2.) above and it works beautifully!! This is a true-to-size 1.5" PVC slip fitting valve. A 1.5" PVC pipe will fit perfectly inside the valve slip fittings. The valve is very high quality. Push the black handle to "unlock" and change the valve position, as it locks into place in each position.

I like the simplicity of this tool. I need to be able to divert the outlet of my sump pump to any of two tubes. This product fits my purpose perfectly. The lever is a little hard to use, but works well and I don't need to use it frequently.

Ours broke and needed this asap...pool place by my was too expensive..this works perfect..kinda small..but it does the job

There's nothing to dislike about this product, I designed a new type of system for my sump pump, in the pass my sump drain lines freezes up every winter, I would go into the basement after about a month of cold Minnesota weather, if we get any rain I check my sump pump, if the drain lines are frozen I would hear the pump is running but the water in the basin is not moving out, meaning this could burn my sump pump motor out, This products allows me to have a summer and winter drain line for my sump pump system that never freezes, sump pumps really don't need a large port hole to move the water out, so the size is nearly perfect and for sure I cannot complain about the price, Kodoes

Fibropool did a GREAT job getting this unit to me quickly and well packed. This is to replace an valve that I purchased 2 years ago as a diverter for flushing my pool. On the original unit the rubber seal ripped and there was a minor leak requiring a replacement to be necessary. My only recommendation is that users be advised to put silicone grease on the rubber seals annually (or when the valve no longer moves easily) to prevent the seal from being compromised. Other than that this is a good unit, works well and is priced excellent.

Perfect so far. As advertised. Do yourself a favor and work the handle to work it in before you plumb it.

Used this valve to divert the shower water from the house and out of the septic system. Used 1.5 inch ABS plumbing pipe which fit snuggly into this valve but with the ABS glue was no problem to put together. Nice water valve.

The valve is of good quality and easy to exercise but it’s noted as slip when it’s actually female threaded.
