Reasonably well shielded, robust cable
I needed a network cable to install into some trunking that would end up going through some walls so I wanted a cable that was robust. This cable delivered. It's high gauge, felt heavy duty and seems like it will last. I knocked a star off tho because in the process of fitting my own RJ45 jacks to it I did notice the quality of the wires inside seemed basic. The other thing is that the ground wires are all the same plain white colour (instead of being striped) which means you need to be careful to keep the pairs separate before you insert them into a jack. Each pair was well shielded however. Anyway it runs at 1 gigabit speed no issues. Cannot test whether its truly Cat8

A very robust ethernet cable, runs perfectly in my 10Gbps network.
This is a very sturdy cable, really well made. I use it to link two 10Gbps switches together. It works perfectly, with both switches reporting a link speed of 10Gbps. CAT8 cables are rated to 40Gbps btw.
