Really easy to use, doesn’t soak the floor. Cleaned my grout and kitchen amazingly. It got rid of the grease on the tiles. Its a very sturdy steam cleaner and the instructions on how to use it are clear.

The first Polti steamer I purchased was in 1980 when I lived in Germany and as they have stopped working I have replaced them. This steam cleaner will be my third machine and is the cheapest, smallest model I have bought from Polti yet. Although this steamer is smaller than some of their other models it cleans as well as the more powerful models I have used. A plus with this machine is you can top up with water as you clean with no need to wait until machine depressurises, heat up time for 'ready to steam' is quick and steam pressure easily adjusted. It is a light machine compared to other Polti steamers and easily moved around behind you as you clean, steam pipe very flexible so makes getting into awkward places just that little bit more easy and the shaped head works well following skirting boards and getting into the corners. Reading some reviews I would like to point out that this is a steamer which refreshes carpets, removes surface stains, helps to lift dirt to the surface of the carpet but is not the deep clean type of carpet cleaner with rollers which spray water and soak the carpet. It does not vacuum up after itself as a traditional carpet cleaner, you have to do this yourself, however as it only 'steams' carpet and not saturates it with water/cleaning fluid there is no need to suck up any excess water. After using the steamer the house smells fresh and clean without having to use any fake smelling cleaning materials. This steamer can be used all around the house for cleaning and is great for refreshing mattresses, the high steam temperature kills off those 'nasties' which we are always being told about which live in our bedding. A great cleaner for asthma sufferers as it kills mites, removes dust and pollen all without using cleaning materials. People have commented that there is no 'cable tidy', I have never had a cable tidy on any of my previous machines, but you can gather up the cable and tie up with a velcro tie which is attached to it. I store my machine in a plastic storage box with all the parts so not an issue. Overall a great small machine at a great price which does the same job as Polti's more expensive models.

When I first fired up this nifty steamer, I was utterly gobsmacked by how quickly it heated up and got ready for action. The separate water container is a doddle to use and makes topping up a breeze, even in the middle of a deep clean of my beloved DIY workstation. It’s lightweight and glides along whatever surface you’re dealing with, perfect for when I’m dealing with the aftermath of my daughter's impromptu gatherings. The adjustable steam pressure is perfect for all those nooks and crannies, especially skirting boards and behind radiators. One critique: it’s not a miracle worker for deeply ingrained carpet grime, but it’s brilliant at freshening things up without leaving your floors soggy. A small quibble given how compact and convenient it is, the lack of a cable tidy didn’t bother me much, just velcro it up!

Excellent product. I am so pleased with my new steamer. This machine is easy to use, quick to put together and interchange the attachments to meet the desired cleaning. The water heats up quickly (within 2 mins) and the large tank capacity makes this product one to choose. I bought it when it was on offer and got it a great price. Offering great value for money. Cleaning is now easier and the results are excellent.

I bought the Polti Vaporetto 100B in November 2021. I have used it regularly ever since - minimum of once a week to give my floors a good clean. I loved this steamer because it is so labour-saving using the minimum of effort with maximum effect. Until a couple of weeks ago I would have given everything about this 5 stars. The steamer started to have a problem with the steam coming out intermittently and then no steam at all. I thought all I had to do was contact Polti and get advice, as the Polti 2 year guarantee was still in vogue. However, I found out from Polti Customer Services that because the Vaporetto 100B, although being bought on Amazon, was NOT bought from a recognised supplier of Polti products and they would not honour the guarantee. I asked Customer Services if I could buy a new hose and trigger because that seemed to be the problem. For this particular model, you cannot buy parts as they are all fixed and cannot be replaced - basically when it's done, it's done. I was advised my only option is to buy the next level up Polti Turbo steamer at £399 where the hose is separate and you can buy parts. I am so disappointed as I am now left with a steamer that looks like new (I looked after it like a baby) but which is now totally useless. PLEASE ENSURE IF YOU DO BUY THIS MODEL, ENSURE THAT YOU BUY FROM A POLTI RECOGNISED SUPPLIER ON AMAZON OTHERWISE YOUR 2 YEAR GUARANTEE IS NUL AND VOID!!

I had a Kärcher before and after only a couple of years the spiral hose tore at both ends and it didn't feel safe. The way the hose attaches in the Polti is much less prone to such wear and tear. The only drawback to the Polti is that what it calls a brush isn't really a brush. It's just the part you attach the cloth pad to; so you give the floor more of a wipe than a scrub. However the shape of that "brush" is very good for getting into all the corners. It's quick to produce steam and very easy to use; so I would recommend it.

Nice machine but it doesn’t stay on steam very long you end up constantly waiting for it to ho back to steam. It doesn’t take long but on a large floor it’s a pain.
