I was pretty sceptical when I made the purchase but it actually works. There is definitely a bit of technique to it but once you figure it out it works really well. Requires alot less effort than other backyard methods I've used.

This thing is an absolute beast once you get the hang of it. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure out the technique — hit straight down first, then pry outward with a slight gap to dig the shovel close to the rim and bead — it works beautifully. I’ve used it on stubborn tires that other tools struggled with, and it broke the bead clean every time. Built solid, heavy, and feels like it’ll last forever.
