Pure Monk Fruit is a little pricey and has after taste but better for you.
I like the quality of this item and that it isn’t mixed with erythritol (most monk fruit sweeteners are)! Keep in mind this sugar comes extra fine, such that even slowly closing will yield a powder “puff.” There is still a noticeable taste that is not “sugary” but as a means to lower glycemic index and carbs we’re happy to adapt. Oh, also note that a tiny plastic “spoon” comes with. We found it about 6 months later Lol. It’s packaged in a tiny plastic baggie. The spoon is approximately 1/16 of a teaspoon… tiny.

It does have that after taste.
I give this a 5 star review because it is all it says it is. The reviews I read lead me to believe there was no after taste and that it tasted exactly like sugar. To some I imagine that to be so. For me, ick. I tried to overcome that after taste but I couldn't. I wanted it for my coffee but I just can't take the taste. It is a very powerful sweetener, but it does have that taste. Probably more suitable for cooking in my opinion.

It's a satisfactory substitute sweetner (for me), but does raise my blood sugar sightly.
VERY SWEET. Only 1/8 of a teaspoon is enough for a huge mug of coffee. Powdery, though. If you're not careful opening the package or transferring it into another container, you'll end up inhaling and choking on the fly-away dust cloud it creates! Because it floats like powder, it also takes a little more effort to dissolve in liquid. I chose this brand because it advertises as being Non-GMO "organic"... no sugar alcohol (Erythritol) or other additives. I'm not a chemist, so wouldn't know one way or the other. It does raise my blood sugar slightly, but so does everything I ingest, it seems. The big bag is only a 1/4 full, and that disappointed me at first, but because you need to use so little of it, it's STILL almost a 1/4 full after all these months. It leaves a slight overly-sweet aftertaste on your tongue, but nothing I would describe as bitter or unpleasant. I suppose it depends on your DNA and individual taste buds.

Less than ok, sweet but bloating issues
This product is less than ok in my humble opinion. I am a fitness fanatic and I eat healthy with about 20+ years of fitness and nutritional experiences..I am on keto and I have noticed the the following:Pros: it is sweetCons:1) it is not as strong as others claim taste wise. It is not like sugar where the more you put the sweeter it gets. This almost has a sweetness threshold and has aftertaste! So the more you put the taste stays the same and more aftertaste.2) I have noticed that I crave more sweets throughout the day after I use it as if I got kicked out of ketosis process. I had it with hot black tea and later on the day I crave more sweets and feel like tired so obviously some how my insulin was triggered.3) I get bloated, they do claim it is pure extract but I react to it worst than having the real thing, sugar. So unsure if the content is 100% “pure”. When I am off of it no bloating or gases4) small quantity for the money too. Bag and spoon are a mess as it is so fine. I’d give it 2 out of 5 in that department it could get improved. Maybe a can would probably work better.Lastly, I am just going to cut out sugars/sweets completely. Every time I try a sugar substitute I get more cravings throughout the day as apposed to just being on keto and not crave anything. I actually do one spoon of the real thing I.e Sugar (only one spoon) and no bloating and seem to stay in ketosisThat said, others may react differently or possibly my system is just “too clean” to notice those difference so do as you wish but that’s my experience. Do I recommend it to a family member? No.

Tastes great AND gluten free!
This stuff is super sweet! A little goes a long way! Great replacement for sugar and other sugar substitutes! I especially appreciate that this actually says and actually is gluten free! It should be but there are others out there that are not! This is now my sugar free kitchen staple! Thank you!

Finally can enjoy coffee again!
I’m writing this review as I sip the first cup of coffee that I’ve actually enjoyed since starting keto.Does it taste exactly like sugar? No, but nothing will so you might want to let that dream go. But this is the only keto sweetener that doesn’t taste like chemicals to me.

Monk fruit sweetener.
This monk fruit sweetener gives me the most bang for the buck. I've tried other sweeteners but the ones that are this good are so much more expensive it's not worth it. This monk fruit sweetener does not have any aftertaste and it does not affect my digestive system negatively. I will be repurchasing this when I run out.

Really good sugar substitute
As a diabetic, I try to limit my sugar intake. I've used Splenda for quite some time, though it wasn't a perfect sugar substitute. While it does contain little to no sugar, it still causes your blood insulin levels to fluctuate as if it does. I've not been using the monk fruit extract for very long, but once I got the measurements adjusted properly, I've been very satisfied with the taste. The only complaint I have is that it's nearly impossible to dissolve in cold liquids. Even in hot liquids some effort is required to get it to dissolve completely. Luckily the only way I use it is in brewing iced tea, so it works.
