I couldn’t find the exact gold tapestry thread to complete a half done charity shop find. I opted for this product instead. It’s a flat thread rather than a rounded traditional tapestry thread. However, I doubled it up and it’s done the job. Will enjoy using the rest come the bling season.

I use it primarily to make hangers for my tapestry tree decorations and "haloes". Not easy to thread into a needle but a needle-threader usually helps. Good that it does not stretch, it is not knitted.

Knitting a nativity set I needed gold for the angels wings and three kings crowns. This does look lovely although it isn't easy to knit with because of the bobbliness and the fact that it splits easily and there were a few curses as I was doing it. Looks good though and makes all the difference to the finished figures and I am glad that i bought it .

Never used this before to crochet but went slower then usual and managed quite well. It had a mind of it's own and unwrapped when it felt like it. I think be better loosely made into a ball which is what I will do. but yes I like it.
