The chain is very nice and what I was seeking. The reason for 3 stars was the way the product arrived the first time, unprotected in a plastic bag and broken. The replacement arrived protected in a nice box with cleaning cloth. If you order and receive in a plastic bag, just return it.

The ad says it's sterling silver. I have no way to test it so I cannot say. It is very shiny, as noted by other reviewers. Otherwise it's exactly what I ordered and I have no complaints.
