Gourmet Perle Chefs Collection Cat Food, Mixed, 60 X 85g

bought this pearlescent gourmet catfood under the impression it was some new-age, avant-garde human delicacy – y’know, that trendy artisanal stuff. The label said things like "sustainably sourced tuna mousse with a whisper of pheasant essence" and "infused with omega-rich oils in a shimmering aspic jelly." I assumed it was marketed to people with an ironic palate and a desperate need to feel superior at dinner parties. So I popped a tin. The scent hit me first – bold, fishy, unapologetic. Like Poseidon slapped me with a trout and said, “You’re not ready for this flavour journey.” I took a cautious spoonful. Friends, it sparkled. Like edible glitter met regret. The texture? Smooth yet alarmingly suggestive of something that should purr. The flavour? Imagine a mermaid's perfume had a baby with a salt lick. Halfway through, I started questioning things. Why was it served in tiny cans? Why did it pair so well with tap water? Why was my cat watching me with a mix of horror and admiration? Only when I saw the words "not for human consumption" (in very small print, mind you) did I realise I’d just eaten haute cuisine meant for Whiskers. Would I do it again? Honestly… maybe. I’ve had worse at gastropubs in Shoreditch. Five stars – but deducting none, because I’m now the alpha in my house and my cat respects me. Sort of. My cat go's crazy for this meat she luvs all the different varieties they offer , plus they are so meaty and full of gravy just wat she likes 👍 and (mia) my cat can be a fussy eater but this she never leaves any of it gone . Thank-you.
