Size:L Why Fairtrade? All our suppliers are Fairtrade, and therefore provide a fair wage, working conditions, and terms of trade for the artisans making the products we sell. By providing a fair wage, artisans are paid equal to or above their regional minimum wage. It’s also ensured that a fair price has been mutually agreed by all parties involved, and that the principle of equal pay for work by women and men is enforced. Safe and fair working conditions mean that health and safety measures are established, no forced labour or child labour are used, and producers comply with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Fair terms of trade help ensure that workers aren’t being exploited, and can also mean they have more control and input into the work they do. It also promotes and protects the cultural identity and traditional skills of small producers as reflected in their craft designs. Respect for the environment is another key aspect to Fairtrade. Buyers and importers give priority to buying products made from materials that originate from sustainable sources, and have the least impact on the environment. Why Ethical Roots? All our products come with a money back guarantee, so if you aren't 100% satisfied with your product, you can send it back to us, no questions asked. As a company, we are passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals and communities within developing countries, to ultimately create a fairer world. Ethical Roots Fairtrade products may cost slightly more than comparable items but we believe, by selling products that are manufactured within the terms of Fairtrade, the vitally important task of reducing global inequality is achievable. Totally shite gift, don’t waste your money
My ‘ethical gift, Guatemalan worry dolls’ arrived today and they look NOTHING like the photo! Someone has drawn wonky faces on scraps of paper and roughly tied a short piece of cotton around the middle... My toddler could do better

Poor quality rolled up paper
I was only expecting a cheap knick-knack, but these are a joke. We received folded up paper shoddily wrapped in fabric, with sharp bits of wire sticking out as the "arms", and faces drawn on hastily in felt tip. They look nothing like the picture; even the paper insert instructions is a black and white photocopy which was screwed up into a ball. Really disappointed, and I'm going to make my own.

Cute and helpful for worriers
These worry dolls are very cute..I purchased these for my 8 year old who worry alot and they do seem to be helping her a little. At night when she is worried about something she talks to one of them then places it in the bag under her pillow.

Don’t bother
Really cheap looking. The note inside explaining the myth around the dolls wasn’t even cut in straight lines. My 3 year old could have done better. Really disappointed. Dolls much smaller than I expected too.

cute
bought these to put into a wellness package for someone and someone actually bought me some years ago. I never got to look inside at the little people because like i said it was a gift for someone BUT the sentiment is super cute and it could have a lot of meaning behind it :) would recommend

Bought as a gift
Nice. A fair bit bigger than previously bought worth dolls but nice as each one is individual with a different expression.
