Rowan Felted Tweed, Clay (177), 50g

Ordered a couple of balls of this to add to other colours I had for knitting a Fairisle slipover. Lovely yarn to knit with and being felted it meshes with the other colours to give a genuine Fairisle look.

Great colours in this range, easy to knit would recommend.

I've bought many colours of the felted wool and they are all unusual colours which i love. Expensive wool though but I only knit small things like hats. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that the labels don't have the colour written on only a code, I usually cut a bit of wool off and stick it on the label so i know which code matches what colour in case I want to order more.

It's a Rowan yarn. What's more to say?

I am happy with the yarn I received, it is Rowan quality. But why would seller send 2 different dye lots? Once washed they might look a different colour on my projet…

Beautiful wool

The shades in all Rowan wool are perfect. The texture is fantastic to knit and looks very trendy!

I'm not sure if this is old yarn or what. I just got a ball of it for gauge since the pattern called for this brand of yarn . All I was trying to do was a long tail cast on and it would break every few stitches. So I started pulling on it with very little force and break, break, break. Actually I've never had a yarn that breaks so easily. I would never trust it with a project. I'll just stick to the yarns I know. Beautiful color, but no thanks!

Love this yarn. For the Winter story blanket pattern.

I love the yarn. It is unique and of very good quality. The project I used it on, a sweater, is coming out exactly like I wanted it. I recommend this yarn for upscale, high-quality sweaters.
