Replacement Voice Remote Control-400st

I have an old Firestick that still works fine for what I do, but the remote started freezing, sometimes after a minute, other times after an hour or even a day. To get it un-froxzenm i would have to take the battery out (removing just one worked), then put it back in, and the remote would work again, sometimes for a minute, but at lease I could use it! I tried a complete reset of the remote, but again it worked for an short time then was back to the same freeze-up behavior. The new one was very inexpensive, and seems to be an exact replacement. Amazon knows what firestick I have, and on the page with the new remote, there was a little message that confirmed that I was looking at the right replacement. The pairing went fine, and it didn't take any other button pushing (in my case) for the new remote to control the TV and the soundbar. If there are any problems, I'll update this review but if a few weeks pass and you don't see any complaints, it means the remote is working well.

Works perfect for my fire stick. I didn't know if I had a generation 2 or 3, so I was confused about which replacement remote would world. So I took a chance on this one and it worked great! You do have to go through the set up process on your TV but it's really easy to do. Its definitely better than the remote app on your phone (which is an option by the way if you need a remote in a pinch) it's working as a remote should. Def recommend for a replacement on any version of fire sticks.

This is very difficult to pair with your TV. I’ve never had one that did this. It will not work to turn the TV off and on. I’m going to end up having to get another one because I don’t wanna return this. This is stupid. It’s only six dollars and some cents I should’ve known and just not wasted my money.. They have changed it because I have bought it in the past and it wasn’t like this.
