Love sardines & was seeking other options not available in grocery store & found these & ordered, as I do like black pepper. Great brand for sardines in general too btw. Love these! But know there is a lot of black pepper & whole black peppercorns in this, how much of the black pepper & whole peppercorns you choose to consume is up to you obviously. Lot of black peppers spice/taste if you do, but I love them. I ate them plain out of the can, but I imagine they’d be great with foods that pair well with lots of black peppers like on salad or pasta. I do recommend these, if you like lots of black pepper & that flavor.

Not all sardines are created equal, and King Oscar is the best as far as I'm concerned. I have the Spicy Cracked Pepper on 3 week auto delivery, if that gives you any indication of how much I like these sardines. I've tried just about every flavor, including the Mediterranean, the jalapeno and the zesty tomato. The cracked pepper are my favorites, followed by the Mediterranean. I've never received a bad batch or even a bad can for that matter. Lastly, you'll save yourself some money ordering these through Amazon as opposed to getting them at the grocery store.
