Absolutely stunning. The pictures are fantastic and just so beautiful.The main draw for me was honestly that the print is much larger than a regular book as the book itself is physically larger (about the size of a recipe book). I struggle to read at the moment due to illness and this was my treat/challenge for myself. While I myself and still struggling, the font and typeface are nice and large, easy to read and anything else you could want. The pictures do such a beautiful job of bringing this story even further to life.Truly, if you’re questioning whether or not to get this for even a minute, get it. It’s gorgeous and you’ll love it.Hopefully the photo does a decent job of showing the size and the font. I couldn’t find a banana for scale, but I believe my hands are regular human hand sized. If not, I’m yet to be informed.

I won't comment on the book content itself, as it is a great read and enough has been said about it already. I will comment on the physical book itself though. I collect a lot of good quality books (Folio Society) and it's nice to see a special edition that has good quality paper, good size text (very easy to read) and great illustrations. There has been some negative comments about these being black and white rather than stunning colour plates. I disagree, as it leaves more to the imagination and that the images portray a lot of detail and are very effective. The best thing about the book though is that it has a sewn binding, the individual 'signatures' clearly visible. This makes for a true collectors item, and knowing that it can withstand multiple readings and stay perfectly in tact. The cover beneath the slipcase is also superb and good quality. The next book in the series, Catching Fire, is being released in the same format with the same illustrator on 9th October 2026. Looking forward to a complete set. Brilliant.

Stunning illustrations, we loved this book and will keep and eye out for illustrated versions of the other books as a gift for my son.

I loveee the Hunger Games and this book it just really beautiful so im really happy with this!! One of the corners did come with a bit of damage but I was able to fix it some not much of a big problem. Would 100% recommend this book if you are a Hunger Games fan!!

I adore this series and these black and white illustrations fit the tone perfectly. I ordered a copy for my friend and then one for myself because it's that good.

The illustrations are beautiful obviously great writing. It was a gift but I wish there was more illustrations.
