Kit for Epson Expression Premium (XP) printers

The nozzles on my Epson XP-620 printer were badly blocked, to the point where I thought I would have to buy a new printer as the print quality was abyssmal (probably due to lack of use)...printing with colour was awful and streaking too. After "Googling" to see if others had experienced the same problem I found this product mentioned several times so as I had nothing to lose decided to try it. It comes with very good instructions which are easy to follow and the whole process probably took less than 30 mins. The end result was amazing!! The nozzle checks print 100% correctly (for the first time in months) and I now have nice streak-free clear prints. I fully recommend this product.

Maybe bit unfair giving it only 3 starts but I had actually completely removed the print head and practically used the whole bottle warmed through but unfortunately still not not fully resolve the issue for me.

My XP-830 was in a sorry state with all six print heads gummed up and repeated head cleans unable to solve the issues. I thought I'd be buying a new printer but saw a couple of youtube vids and thought I would give a last ditch attempt at fixing it using this cleaning kit. The instructions were clear although the length of time to leave the solution in contact with the heads was slightly self-contradicting depending on which source you used (the youtube vids differed from the included instruction sheet) but as it was a heavy clog I simply left it to soak for a couple of hours. The only issue was the force neeed to ensure the contact between the applicator and the top of the heads was pretty fierce but go slowly on the syringe and it gets there in the end. The result was completely cleared heads first time around, and with only two thirds of the solution used. I've tested with some photo printing and the results are perfect. saved myself over a hundred quid on a new printer so very happy indeed with the results.

Normally I just use isopropyl alcohol for this task but my Epson XP-615 printer needs a special adapter to cover the print head feed, which this seller kindly provides. The cleaning fluid seems to work fine (I warmed it as recommended) and although the adapter worked, it did leak as there isn't a perfect seal between the head feeder and the adapter so you have some cleaning up to do. Also you need quite a lot of the blotting paper so I feel that more should be provided. And it isn't super-absorbent blotting paper either. For these two reasons I've given it 4 stars but it does work even if it does require quite a bit of cleaning up afterwards.

I got this to clean print heads on my Epson Expression XP-900 printer. I carefully followed instructions and warmed the solution, the adapter does not fit very well and will leak out. Using lots of kitchen roll and blotting paper underneath and around each reservoir to catch the leaking solution. It did clean the nozzles by about 90% after letting it dry out completely for 2 days it was producing acceptable prints for a couple of days. Then suddenly stopped with an error code 031002. This is the code for a short in the printer head and may also have blown the circuit board. It was cheaper to buy a new Epson XP-970 than to have my old printer repaired I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

This cleaning kits worked perfectly. The blue jet on my Epson XP-520 printer was completely blocked and I was expecting to have to throw away the printer. A few squirts of the cleaning fluid through it though and it was operating 100% again. The adapter that fits the XP range is a must - if you have one of these printers then make sure you purchase the correct kit. I was also very impressed with the customer service from the Prnthead Hospital. All in all a highly recommended cleaning kit.

Bought two and none fit XP-760

Had some on-going issues with our Epson XP-720 - few different kits (most cheaper) on Amazon but this referred directly to the Expression range so went with it. Arrived promptly, has all the bits you need and the video mentioned in the package is well worth looking at. Got to be honest, I only gave each head a quick squirt/soak (2 mins) but this flushed out all the crud very well. Only needed to do 2 self-clean runs to get a perfect nozzle check. Also, I've been reading about the internal waste pad that soaks up all the ink from self-clean runs etc. which can get over-saturated - I took the opportunity to order a replacement one (sold on Amazon, the Epson part number is 1611102). Glad I did as the original was absolutely swimming in ink and I wonder how much more capacity it actually had. Printer is now back up and running to the original standard, very pleased.

Kit reçu aujourd'hui. Une buse (jaune) bouchée depuis des semaines malgré des nettoyages répétés (programme intégré à l'imprimante). Avec le kit, débouchage en 5 minutes en suivant scrupuleusement les indications (en anglais). Tout simplement excellent.

Funciona muy bien y es muy fácil de realizar la limpieza. Dos de mis impresoras, una epson y otra hp, con los cabezales obturados imprimen ahora perfectamente incluso fotografías. Hace dos semanas que lo hice y de momento siguen funcionando bien.

Utilisé pour nettoyer les buses imprimantes. Produit efficace et impression au TOP après nettoyage...
