Fits dewalt tools
I use this adapter in my old 18v Dewalt impact and it works great. The new batteries fit right in and work like they should

Money friendly battery replacement
I had several deD batteries from my old drill/screwdriver. This adapter lets me use the newer batteries in my old drilll/screwdriver which lasts longer and more power. And now i dont have to replace the older batteries which are on their last leg

Works great with my Black and Decker LiIon batteries. Very difficult to remove adapter once installed.

Perfect replacement for discontinued Dewalt 18 volt batteries
Just can’t get Dewalt 18 volt batteries anymore, and the aftermarket ones are terrible. I wasted money on 4 (on Amazon) that worked for about 4 charging cycles and died. One actually smoked in the charger. This seems to be the solution. Either get new Dewalt 20 volt batteries or use ones you already have. Ditch the 18 volt charger too. My 18 volt tools work like when they were new and had their original batteries.

Works, for a little bit, but then dies... cheap build...
One thing I love about Dewalt is that they are built tough. I have dropped my Dewalt drill SO many times, and they keep working. They are tanks. The adaptor though... First, they make the drill a bit bulky and awkward. I understand the bulky part might not be able to be helped, but the design could be a better flow. Second, to stay with the design theme, while they go in just fine, but it take two people to remove it because the clips don't release, so one person has to be squeezing the clips HARD while the second person prys it out with a screw driver. Second, while it works, you had better not drop it even once! I bought a 2 pack. First one I dropped and while it still worked, it would not lock in anymore, so it would fall out periodically. Also came with a bent usb slot. After a bit of time though, it stopped working all together. So I started using the second one. I altered the clips on it so it would remove easier. Used it heavily for about a week, any now it won't power the drill, but the USB works. It is almost as if the soldering is almost not existing because once the drill get really warm from heavy use, the adaptor just stops working. Changing tools didn't change anything. Just quit working for powering the drill. Do not buy.
