Advanced Vitamin C 20% Serum With Ferulic, Hyaluronic Acid 1 oz

This product is a great value for the money. It has the same active ingredients as a brand sold at dermatologist's office and high-end spas that sell for $166 an ounce!! (what?!?) It arrived quickly and the product was not discolored. You need to be careful with Vitamin C serums because they tend to be unstable and oxidize kind of quickly and/or when the product is improperly stored or the formulas are not stable. This product was clear in color on arrival and that's a sign of freshness. One thing to be aware of is that it...stinks. Like boiled hot dogs. But ALL vitamin C serums that have Ferulic Acid smell like that. Even the one that's $166 If you are sensitive to smells, this may not work for you. Another thing, formulas with Ferulic are usually recommended for people with dry or normal skin. The product has a slight texture to it that can feel comfortable to those with dry skin and annoying to those with oily skin. The feeling is not oily, but it's there. If you want a Vitamin C serum that leaves no texture behind or feels like water, try a formula *without* Ferulic. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. It was exactly what I was expecting after trying a sample of the high-end brand but having it be out of my budget. I will update in a couple of months with results.

Love this product! It is easily absorbed and the benefits of it show shortly after starting to use it. I also use the Hydrating B5 gel product this company makes in conjunction with this product. I use both twice a day with a good moisturizer and I have seen a great improvement in the texture of my skin, the tightness of my skin and also a big reduction in minor wrinkles around the mouth area. I usually use SkinCeuticals but this brand is just as good and a lot cheaper.

I've been using this product daily for almost 2 weeks and I love the way it makes my skin glow. It has brightened it some but I still have some light brown patches from years of the Florida sun, but I'm hoping with continued use, those will fade. It does have a slight odor. To me its a subtle odor; not harsh as some have posted. It goes on a little sticky and stays tacky on the face for a good while so I would not suggest applying it just before preparing to apply make up - otherwise all your powders will not go on smoothly and will look blotchy. Give it a good hour before applying or put it on at night time; before bed. It states to keep it in a dark area so I keep mine in the refrigerator (still in its box)! When I apply it after a nice warm shower and exfoliating my face, the cool temp feels so soothing!

I Loved using this Serum on my face.I've been using it for about 10 days now and i had a few stubborn acne scars that wouldn't lighten up and this serum worked like a miracle .I used it every night before bedtime.There is no annoying odor to it, which is a plus.Overall, i would recommend this to everyone .Great product.

The texture is excessively liquid. It arrived rusty and smells terrible.

Smells disgusting. Not sure I’ll be able to use it but unfortunately I threw away all the packaging so I’ll suffer through to see if it is effective.

I typically buy Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum. It costs $166.00 or more. This is exactly the same item as far as I can tell. It acts the same, it feels the same. If the formula is different than the more expensive brands, I can't tell. It's hard for me to make a comments on results, because my regimen uses a few products together. I'm mid 50's and I use the following regimen: Morning - cleanse, 3-4 drops of Vitamin C serum under sunscreen moisturizer. Night - prescription Retin A, followed by a liped moisturizer (I buy Eau Thermale Avène Xeracalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream, 6.76 fl. oz. - from Amazon) It's the same ingredients in the very expensive Skinceuticals version.

Three applications and I notice an improvement in my skin integrity. Have used the very high end product in the past and this is comparable to the 168 dollar a bottle. Will definitely switch over to this brand.
