Finally, a better product for small home-use mixer
Damn..... Finally After buying, testing and returning 3 mixers within 10 days, I finally settled into Mackie. Small but powerful packed with all features. I was basically loking for few inputs for home use only and the Software included with the product enhanced the comfort zone while using with computer for recording. Overall, its a genuine deal at affordable price. Just Go for it

A beatmaker loves it.
I hate writing reviews, but I felt that the Mackie was worth it. In the past, I owned at 1202 vlz pro- not ever turning it off for about 25 years. Yeah, I’m stupid that way. But the point is – the 1202 still works other than having a little bit of issues with one channel but that’s hardware that holds up! The Mackie profx16v3 has surprised me in many ways. I use the aux sends and subgroups way more than I thought I ever would. I have outboard compressors and EQ’s so I’m a bit of a power user but not a pro. I have been making music for over 25 years in that entire time I have only owned mackie mixers, but I’ve also owned universal audio’s stuff, motu, and Behringer audio interfaces. The reason that I bring up other gears that I kind of understand what sounds great, and sort of deduced that it kind of doesn’t matter what you have as long as it has a good noise floor as long as you can use other gear to beef it up. The mackies do with the new Onyx preamps. I looked it up & I think it was like 65dB headroom, it can cost thousands on other better mixers and be only 75db sometimes…so in that regard, another win. The crazy part is, I really like the onboard effects. There’s like no control over any part of them and that’s why I like them. They come really quick in a mix when you just need a little reverb or just a chorus or a stupid echo- I use it a lot! Good job on that too. The reason that I picked the PROFX16V3 was because of the eight channels of inserts. I love inserts on mixers because of the way that you can compress or EQ or put effects on single channels, but still remain in the mix. What I’m messing with now a little bit is that you can use an insert cable that has TS on one side and one TRS on the other side and route every Mackie insert channel to your multi channel audio interface and effectively make it into a tascam 12. … it can do that! I would love to have something like the SSL BIG SIX, but since I can’t afford it, I use this and with some silly pirated plugins on top of this, I sound great enough with the mackie. It’s not audiophile quality but it’s great. The onyx preamps on channels 1-8 can be saturated nicely! When I run out of them I feel sad when I just use the other channels haha. I would buy this again! It’s built really solid and it’s a comfortable mixer for my small studio.

Fully featured, great sound quality, compact. A good value.
I'm a retired audio pro contractor. I still keep equipment on hand to do some mobile video DJ gigs, a few installs, consulting and small rental jobs. I mainly use a Midas MR18 digital rack mixer. I have a small Soundcraft analog mixer too. A friend, very active in pro sound, who has tons of Yamaha digital consoles and rack mixers bought a few of these and really likes them. This Mackie intrigued me because of it's many features, primarily the 2-way bluetooth with mix minus. I recently installed a Mackie DLZ mixer in a podcast studio for a friend. It has bluetooth with mix minus too. We linked his cell phone & had several people call in. The incoming call quality was excellent. They heard us back through the podcast mics. I figured the ability to be able do a small PA rental and take incoming calls from guests would be beneficial so I ordered this ProFX10 Go. I also appreciate the simple compression on inputs 1 & 2, built-in effects, phantom power & the same 3 band EQ on all 7 input channels including the 3 stereo channels. The battery operation is added benefit.

BALL DONT LIE
Great value for the money, works perfect for what im trying to use it for (creating podcast content, PA announcing, I bought a board far bigger than what I'll likely ever need, but the phrase,"buy once, cry once" came to mind. I wish it were a little more step by step direction oriented, which is the only reason for 4 stars, and I recognize most users are likely familiar with how to effectively utilize one of these boards.

Sound Features Versatility Tun-ability Built in Effects EQ adjustability Must have top notch speakers or the mixer is useless. Make sure you have ground fault plugs when using power source and high quality wireless devices. Use it for music player, live performance,

Great unit for the price
I got this mixer for the bluetooth and size and it fits neatly on my desk next to my HX Stomp and DITTO4 looper. I bluetooth pair my MAC with it and I can practice along with backing tracks and it sounds awesome through my new Yamaha monitors! The unit sounds great and the built in effects are great as well.

Mackie stills owes me a shoulder strap
Bought this for my living room. I sing and and play guitar/bass and wanted a small mixer that I could integrate my PC sound (my primary entertainment system) with previously noted activities. Before owning this I was using Mackie's pro16fx mixer ((which I also recommend) I already had this for live gigs) but it was overkill and inconvenient when I needed it for its intended purposes. This board has been absolutely perfect for my needs, and the additional Bluetooth has allowed me to eliminate multiple wires running across my living room. As always, Mackie provides excellent Onyx preamps and the bluetooth driver displays no noticable loss in audio quailty. 100% recommend - 100% would buy again (just hope I never need to). I've read some low star reviews on this mixer and it seemed to me, by their reviews, that they didnt know what they were doing/buying. This is a quality product if you know exactly what you need.

I chose this board specifically because when doing live sound a mute button for each channel is really useful, most small boards do not have them. This board also has a mini-jack (3.5mm) input too so anything with a headphone jack output can easily plug into this board. The mic-pre's are the transparent high quality you would expect from the brand and for the price. The effects are clean and each channel eq is good. The outputs are both xlr and 1/4 for the mains, plus 1/4 control room outs with their own volume control. The board also works as a recording interface and comes with software included. I highly recommend this board for anyone looking for a recording interface, or for podcasts, live sound and home studio applications.
