UPF 50+ Unisex Windom UV Hat Drape - Sun Protective

I got this since I recently started a job where I will be working outside. I wear this with a baseball cap and it works great to protect my neck and ears from the sun. I also wore it sailing and have already been asked where I got it, since it worked so well for sailing. This works much better than other sailing hats I have tried which don't fully cover your neck and ears, like this hat drape does. My head is on the larger side and it is a little tight on me, but not too bad. I already bought a second one, so if one is in the wash, I have another available to wear.

I've been using this product under a bike helmet in hot weather. Well made. Really helps to reduce sun exposure. Noticed after an hour and a half that I had a headache from the strap. It would be great if a velcro tab made it adjustable for different size heads.

Okay but not really practical.o

I originally purchased this so I could get additional sun protection under my bicycle helmet for long touring rides (day after day of exposure). This is perfect, as I don’t have to worry about fitting my helmet over a full cap - I can use without adjusting. It’s super easy to remove and store until needed. Provides cool protection without adding bulk. Best surprise? I bought for cycling… duh… works just as great under a regular hat without adding bulk. Thinking about buying a second - one with my cycling gear, and one for my hiking gear! 🤨
