Wonderful gift idea. Moving in gift for my daughter and her partner. They enjoyed watching them grow and releasing them. (3 survived) I loved watching the video they made too. Great hands on fun and caring activity- First pets together ! Now they are expecting their first baby!

This company is very professional, responsible and makes a lot of effort to keep high welfare standards for them insects, which I love it. The Caterpillar triple the size in 24h, which we were so surprised. It's super educational, with clear instructions and so much information about the butterflies stages and details. Probably will do ladybirds after.

We had so much fun doing this. Getting to see how the caterpillars change was incredible and was something we talked bout daily. It was lots of fun especially when we woke and see how they changed overnight. Everything you need is included in the box. And it’s small enough not to take up too much room. We got 5 caterpillars. And got 4.5 out ( sadly one failed to break out the chrysalis) but the joy in the kids faces when we let them go and discussed where they’ll go next. Were definitely doing this again.

Amazing set! Everything you need in the box. Super educational whilst being fun for both adults and kids! Clear instructions inside the package as well as handy faqs on their site. We had 5 caterpillars and managed to get 4/5 butterflies. Sadly one of the chrysalis was deformed but this can’t be helped. Releasing them was a brilliant experience and the bonus is, the net is completely reusable. Definitely recommend.

This is a truly great product. My children (aged 8 and 10) loved watching these tiny (and I mean tiny!) caterpillars transform into big, fat caterpillars in a very short space of time before spinning their chrysalids. The instruction booklet that came with the set was really clear and had lots of interesting information on what would happen next. We followed the instructions very carefully and before long we had 5 perfect butterflies. I think from receiving the caterpillars it took less than three weeks for the first butterfly to emerge, so there was plenty to watch and hold the kids' interest. We have cleaned the pop-up 'garden' that came with the set ready for next time. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting a fun and educational experience for their kids, and for themselves! As a family we enjoyed it immensely and we will be purchasing more caterpillars next year.

Absolutely love everything about this set, and so did my 10 year son. I’ve done it before years ago with my daughter, but this came as a complete set, with the caterpillars included, with clear instructions to follow. All of our caterpillars attached to the top and all survived!!! We were also so very lucky to get to witness them emerge from their cocoons. Something we were so lucky when did with my daughter. My son was absolutely fascinated by them - watching them grow and transform to butterflies. It was a very proud moment when he released them into the world. Highly recommend - excellent price for such a beautiful experience - thank you.

The package arrived and the instructions were really easy to follow. My granddaughter loved watching the caterpillars get bigger and then go into their chrysalis. We were so lucky as all 5 of the caterpillars survived and became butterflies. They are releasing them tomorrow in their garden and are already planning to order some more. Would definitely recommend as a great present for a child who is interested in nature.

All good until the catterpillars started eating whichever one tried to cocoon 😔
