Son loves it
My teen son loved this book. He had been requesting it for a while. After reading, he said it was one of his favorite books.

Another spec-evo hit from Christian Cline!
I liked this one as much as much as Cline's other two books, and it's in the same vein--a speculative tracing of the evolution of a variety of other intelligent species that might inhabit the Milky Way, rather than just one (the Yaetuans of his Yaetuan Sagas). I'm a *little* sad because as you can tell, the book is somewhat smaller than his other two, though more ground is covered it's not as in depth as the Yaetuan Sagas was. Still, thats a very small complaint, and there's so much good art and worldbuilding in this one I have to recommend it. Plus it has a foreward from CM Koseman, the All Tomorrows guy, who very heartily endorsed it. If you like speculative evolution, you gotta pick this up as well :D

Make more
You should make more books like the yautuan sagas but of each species in this book.
