Not sure about what to say about a longer commercial power cord, but this one is of good quality, heavy duty and does the job it was designed to do without any problems. Eliminates the need for an extension cords and is less of a fire hazard! I would recommend this cable for longer reaches vs using an extension cord!

I've had to purchase a few of these and they are heavy duty. The outlet end is a standard 3-pronged NEMA that fits residential style plugs. The end that supplies power to the device is IEC, common in much electronic equipment like the music gear I use. Wanted to order 30' cables but these 25' cables reach in most instances. It doesn't coil down to a compact size due to being very thick and stiff, but heavy duty is what we need and none of these have ever failed after years of frequent use. The greater the distance, the larger the wires need to be and these 14 AWG 25' cables have always provided enough current to power our monitors, mains, mixers, et cetera. I recommend these.

Amazon incorrectly says the cable is not UL listed, but it is, and the UL tag can be found attached to the cable. I also contacted the manufacture and they confirmed the cable is UL listed and provided the cable design document for reference.
