Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Volume 1 [DVD]

My childhood all over again, I love it!

I watched this series for the first time as a child I loved then and still love it now, and I searched high and low for it, but I did not find it anywhere else but Amazon, I wish there were more episodes available on DVD I loved the Snow White episode I wonder why the makers of this series didn't have it distributed on DVD in the U.S. I guess they underestimated how much people loved it, because I know that I'll be the first to buy the next volume when it becomes available on DVD again I mean if it ever doesBut in the mean time volume 1 is pretty good, though there are no special features just a menu selection screen to select which story you want to watch, also it does not have my favorite Snow White and seven dwarfs episode. apparently the Snow white episode is on another volume I think volume 2, but I still enjoyed the episode's it does have. but remember this DVD version is in region 2 format so you'll need a region free DVD player or it wont play.

What more can I say? It is great traditional tales which the children enjoy to watch time and time again!

The classic tales did not meet my expectations: poor ( japanese) graphics/ animation, not the classic story behind the way i used to know the tale.
