Breathe Fresh, Sleep Deep! 🌙
The CPAP Inline Filter pack includes 10 universal filters designed for compatibility with most CPAP and BiPAP machines using standard 22mm tubing. Engineered for optimal airflow maintenance, these filters feature large filter cotton to maximize filtration efficiency while minimizing airflow loss. Each filter lasts approximately 4-6 weeks, making maintenance simple and effective.

Good filtration and low pressure drop
When I got these I was surprised at how low the air resistance is. The filter is really easy to blow air through, which means it won't affect your CPAP much, however, you should use the in-line filter setting on your CPAP if it has one. Your CPAP pressure settings are tested with a pressure sensor at the output of the machine, but the actual pressure is a bit lower because of the tube, and the CPAP compensates for that. But it can't compensate for this filter if you don't tell the CPAP machine that you have put one on it.Because of how easy it is to blow through these filters I wondered if the filter media was any good. So I connected it to my PortaCount sub-micron particle counter to see how much the filter reduced the concentration of ambient particles. Only about 2.4% of the particles got through, which means the filters are roughly 97.6% efficient in filtering ambient sub-micron particles, so they are about N95 level (but not actual certified N95 filters).Ideally, I'd like a really filter on the intake of my CPAP to keep particles out of the machine and the humidifier - the little filters the machine uses are not very good and there is leakage around them. The machine isn't built with any kind of connector for adding these filers on the intake side, unfortunately. And on the output side they can get saturated with moisture if you use a humidifier, potentially allowing germs to grow on the filter media, and making the filter harder to blow through.

Noisy
I tried using one and they whistle so I couldn’t sleep. Nice idea but they need to be quiet.

Useful for filtering a laser air-assist, if you have hose adapters
First, I didn't use these for a CPAP at all - instead, I wanted to ensure I could filter large-scale dust and debris (including cat fluff...) out of the air feed to my laser cutter. For that purpose, these work well - I did have to 3d-print a pair of adapters to match the line size to the filter, but they otherwise didn't seem to significantly impede the airflow. The connectors are two different sizes, and larger than the 3/16 ID 5/16 OD tubing I'm using, but the filter is large enough in area to accommodate the modest airflow without acting as an obstruction.
