![The Incredible Hulk (4K Ultra-HD) [Blu-ray] [Region Free]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ckSIkvy5L.jpg)

All-action Marvel Comics blockbuster in which scientist Dr.Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) searches for the cure to his life-transforming alter-ego. Scouring the globe, searching for the antidote that will prevent him from changing into The Hulk, Banner (Norton) is forced to keep a low profile, lest the military authorities that seek to exploit his powers finally catch up with him. In an ironic twist, he longs to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), who just happens to be the daughter of his chief military adversary, General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross (William Hurt). Having finally decided to return to civilisation, Banner discovers that there's an even bigger and more dangerous enemy on the block - The Abomination (Tim Roth). A primal beast even more powerful than The Hulk, this new foe, the result of a foreign agent being exposed to an even larger dose of the radiation that created The Hulk, is unable to revert back to human form. Now the stage is set for the titanic battle of the two heavyweights, with New York the setting for the ultimate showdown. Review: Excellent price - Great movie good price didn’t like the 2003 version of hulk though Review: A film for the fans! - I was not looking forward to this film, having enjoyed the TV show of years gone by and the previous Hulk film, wondering what they could do that was interesting or different. What they did was create a film that was clearly made for the FANS, and what a fantastic film it is. The Hulk origins are effectivley rewritten in the opening credits, and from there, the film follows its own course, a fast paced adventure with believable characters and some great CGI. We see more of the Hulk, more fight scenes, and for the fans, we are treated to glimpses of the old TV show in the form of a bit of that distinctive piano music we all came to love, the appearence of McGee, a cameo by Bill Bixby and a hysterical twist on the 'Don't make me Angry' line. It also acts as a set up for other Marvel productions, so watch carefully, and the ending is out of this world! Forget the previous film, according to this, and now me, it does not exist, THIS is the definitive Hulk film. More please!

Don't be put off by the first one...
I must admit that after seeing the 2003 Hulk movie I decided to avoid this like the plague... I later found out I was very wrong to do so after watching the DVD at a friend's house. It left me wishing I had seen it on the big screen so the only thing left to do was unleash the power of Blu-Ray. This looks great in Hi-Def, the effects are stunning the plot is very good and the new cast are outstanding - all praise to Edward Norton for this turn around performance as Bruce Banner. In fact this film does a great job across the board and has been made in a way that makes the first installment completely redundant (so just skip it and come to this one). Be you a comic book fan like myself or just a lover of good action/sci-fi this will do the job. It is the first example of Marvel taking control of their movie franchises after much fan dissatisfaction from the Spiderman and X-men trilogies, the completely overlooked DareDevil and the terrible Elektra movie and takes it's place with the new breed of Marvel controlled releases like Iron Man. ***SPOILER ALERT*** Don't read any further if you don't want to have some of the surprises unveiled... This plot follows Bruce Banner as he tries to keep a low profile whilst desperately attempting to control his condition and ultimately find a cure. Nice tips of the hat to Captain America's origin - the Super Soldier program. Also a very interesting little cameo at the very end from none other than Tony Stark! Tim Roth plays a good part as British Special Forces operative Emile Blonsky, Liv Tyler adds heartache as Banners would be love Betty and Norton has Banner down to a T. I watched this film with very low expectations and was very surprised but many viewings later still enjoy this movie very much. In my opinion there is nothing to dislike about it - very entertaining, exciting and well executed. I especially recommend it to fans of the Iron Man movies but think most people who like action/adventure would enjoy it.

A Visual and Audio Experience for the Home Cinema Enthusiast
I didnt see this movie when it was released, just never got round to it. But, being a movie buff and a Hulk fan from the late 1970s, I decided to purchase this anyway, especially on Blu Ray. Now, what I liked about this version, which is far superior to the original Ang Lee version from about 5 years ago, is that the action scenes are quite simply awesome!!! Moreover, the storyline is much better and flows to a great all action end sequence between the Hulk and the Abomination, sequences which have to be seen to be believed! And being on Blu Ray, the picture detail is quite simply out of this world!! The story centres around Bruce Banner(Ed Norton) who has hidden himself away in the Brazilian jungle to avoid the american military led by a general (William Hurt)who wants to use the Hulk as a weapon. Bruce desperatly wants to find a way to contain and control the terrible rages which causes him to change into the Hulk. He also wants to be reconciled with the love of his life, (Liv Tyler) who has been trying to find a cure, but without success. There isnt a great deal more to say about the plot, so all it needs to be said is that the action sequences are some of the best ever seen in a movie. Movie buffs and action fans are in for a treat, and if you have a Surround Sound Home Cinema set up capable of delivering 5:1 Audio and upwards, then it makes this purchase even better. I noticed some reviewers have complained about problems with the disc. This is because of the very high resolution which the blu ray disc generates. Therefore you need to update the firmware/software on the machine. I have recently purchased the Sony BD 350 which is a great player and can be bought for less than £200 and contains updated firmware which allows new discs to be played without any glitches.

Another outstanding transfer
This disc will give your subwoofer(s) a killer workout. It will also drive your neighbors to believe a war has begun in your living room. Excellent video and audio transfer. The audio track will undoubtedly blow dust off you speakers, shelves and the house down the street. Highly recommended. I give it 4 stars overall. 5 stars for video and audio transfer and 3.5 for the movie itself. Although it is a far better Hulk film than the earlier film produced, it is still one that will not win awards, hence the 3.5 rating. If you are a huge fan of this genre film as I am, as a fun film to enjoy, however, in that genre I would give it 4.5 stars. In the end, it is a great popcorn muncher and a heck of a lot of fun to watch and get, well, blown out of your couch for two hours.

Mon commentaire n'est pas pour juger le film, juste que je pensais qu'il y avait la version française, mais non. Le dvd était dans la liste des produits d'occasion, je n'ai pas fais attention aux langues disponible.
