This is a great for entry level people and you say goodbye to all those glues and possible leaks - all you need to do is just cut and push in and the work is done. Never and any issues and super recommended for folks who needs it. Hope the price could drop down, it wasn't so expensive before covid.

Sharkbite is the way to go. Forget the old torch, flux, and solder method. Sharkbite is simple, easy, and leak-free. Just make sure you use some emery paper and a deburring tool.

Second time since I bought this home a Sharkbite blew apart in the worst crawlspace

Trying to solder wet plumbing is really hard to do properly and using a torch runs the risk of setting your house on fire. These fittings solve those problems. The fittings are well made and easy to use, just make sure to follow directions. A clean cut (don't use a hack saw!) and a clean pipe is vital to prevent leaks. I watched some videos on-line to avoid making mistakes. The tools that they sell for de-burring the cut, marking the installation depth, and undoing the fitting if necessary don't cost very much and I highly recommend that you buy them.

Bought several pieces at once, and if it wasn't for the cost, would have been a perfect 5.

I installed a couple of these in my cold water line while also installing some water filters because our water turns brown from sediment. As with all the other Sharkbite Fittings I have used these went together super easy (of course you have to use some physical force to push them onto the PEX water line but that's expected). Great value for the money.

I've used Shark Bite for a few years and it is a really good product. If you use the PEX tubing and make sure the connections are secure ( all the way in) They do not leak. These fittings cost a little more but they work....no soldering and going back to repair a small leak. You can take these fittings out easily and reuse them again and again. A really great product.p.s. don't buy anything that doesn't have the shark stamp. I did once and it is not the same quality.

I usually solder pipes, but given my limited space in my Reno I decided to try these. Wow, are these cool. So easy to use, so convenient. Worth the very pricey tag. I even bought more to replace some other piping in the house.So easy to use, just prep properly and you're set.
