Tactical and versitile
These are a great bang for the price. They are made out of metal, the push button flip-down response is quick, and they stay true to the aim after recoil. One thing to note is by using them flipped down you can also use the rear sight post as it has a built in rear aperture for that function. However, the sight hole is very small compared to it's normal one that's used when it's in the upright position. The rear sight's ability to pick up light is great, even in dim lighting. it glows green in bright light and yellow in dim lighting making it easy to align with the red glow tip on the front sight post.

Don't. Just don't.
When it comes to BUIS, I don't like to spend a ton of money. Mounts fine, holds zero, easy to forget they exist? Perfect. These sights do only one of those things: they mount easy enough. Zero drifts because the front sight post isn't secure for the same reason the rear sight post is missing entirely in the second photo - vibration from recoil knocks every single threaded item on these sights into the next county, even when tightened near the failure point. This was in under 50 rounds of .223. Got half-way through the third mag, and something hit my left arm - the latch bolt that holds the rear sight post to the sight body, and the spring that acts as the detent to lock everything in place. Managed to recover those two parts, but the square nut that the latch bolt threads into was lost on the forest floor. This is with .223 - one of the weakest, least-recoiling rifle cartridges you can field (some people call it 5.56, because cosplay). 50 rounds of almost nothing, and pop, the sight comes apart.Additionally, these are the girthiest set of BUIS I've ever come across. I have entire red dots that are smaller than these things. They hang off the rail like they just got done at the buffet. First pic shows them lined up with another cheap-and-cheerful front iron sight for comparison (sorry for the bad pics - black-on-black-on-black didn't want to photo well). These are a solid 1/4" wider than pretty much every other set of irons I've got. Between the unnecessarily large footprint and the shake-apart nature, I'm really feeling taken for a ride here. The two positive points I can give them (not worthy of any stars) are that the clamp onto the rail was solid and consistent (should be for a bolt-on), and the actual windage and elevation were easy to adjust, although adjusting the elevation easily is pointless because you *have to* lock the front post down with an allen key, or it'll wiggle around on its own, meaning once you've set elevation for your zero, you can't adjust it again if you change ammo, or range, or anything, without first loosening the grub screw holding it in place. Pack an allen key in your grip, I guess.Don't buy these. Not even for airsoft. They've got one handy idea (the adjustment knobs), one decent execution (the clamps), and the rest is just trash. Don't even begin to consider the 'fixed sights' on the bases either - they are entirely unusable for anything that isn't an AK (they are far too low for anything without a riser, which you shouldn't be putting irons on). Other cheap options are available, and they work much better.

FocuAim R3 Fiber Optic Iron Sights
These iron sites are well made with robust springs. The R3 model sight adjustments are left side centric, allowing your right side to maintain a hold over your rife.If you happen to prefer your adjustments positioned on the right, check out FocuAim R4 Fiber Optic Iron Sights.

Save some money
These are an inexpensive alternative to the gam llup flip up sights. They mount easily and feel solid. Holds zero after long range days. So far so good on .22/5.56/300 blkout. Can’t speak to large caliber recoil.
