Needs US plug adapter.
Reasonably fast delivery, seeing as it has to go through customs before it can be tracked. It comes with a US style 100-240V integrated power adapter/plug.. so you need a US (to whatever) adapter, NOT supplied. Penny pinching from Amazon when you consider a plug is going to set you back only c.1Eu but; but if you dont have one available its a pain.

Its a 6GB Drive on the RHS of the road...
Seems like a good value drive, Has USB 3 support... Dissapointed that it comes with a US style PSU "plug" without any adapters for other countries... it is common place now a days to supply a power unit with a universal mounting system and several adapters.. it would not have cost much more, and for a product this expensive is a drop in the ocean

US model sold on UK site
Just bought this in the UK and as it was advertised on the UK site I was expecting a dual power supply but what I got was a US model. Of no use to me unless I bought a new power supply negating the saving I made. I would not recommend buying this as the issue with the power plus the route and delays necessary to return it if there are any issues means the savings are just not worth the hassle. Avoid.

The electrical connection is American
No English plug included, so the Hard Drive is useless for UK! Spoke to Seagate but did not get anywhere, so returned the product

Slow and not reliable
Bought the 4TB drive in April 21, failed in June 22 after only 1100 power on hours. This drive was glacially slow since day one, never exceeding about 30Mps and sometimes slowing to 1 or 2Mps for no apparent reason. I was using it for its intended purpose as a backup drive so outright speed wasn’t much of an issue but it was still disappointing for a USB3 device working from a USB3 port. The bigger problem was that the drive failed without any warning midway through a backup when the backup program reported that the “Target device does not exist”. Sure enough Drive E: had vanished. I ran Seagate SeaTools and CrystalDiskInfo, both of which announced that the drive had failed with a Reallocated Sectors Count error. Online wisdom was that such an error cannot be recovered from, so I started Amazon’s return process (2 year warranty fortunately) and am currently waiting for the drive to be collected by a courier. I’m hoping for a replacement drive and I’ll edit this once the process is complete. As things stand I could not possibly recommend that anyone buys this drive.
