Dog cat ferret
I wanted to purchase product 2 times before writing a review, purchased this for all of my fur babies all love it on their dry kibble my dog is 13 and started looking like his coat was very dry and not as soft as it was when he was a puppy within 2 wks 2 pumps a day on his food and what a big difference! Now for the ferrets all are rescues so when they came to me they where not in the best of shapes however after cpl wks of applying to their kibble daily the look amazing and full of energy! The cats also love it and I catch them trying to steal the dogs kibble!! Product last a long time considering I'm giving it to 7 pets and I don't find the smell offensive but I'm also used to feeding ferrets lots of raw and freeze dried fish😁So this product is now considered a staple for feeding my babies and I will definitely purchase again!

Yes & No. Always Shake Bottle
I was relieved to find the package/bottle came in perfect shape = no leaks. This is a large bottle, as it should be for the cost. However, I'm afraid it will probably go rancid before I use it all, because I have cats & they don't dose as much. I wish (this brand) it came in a smaller, yet price appropriate bottle. Bottle came with screw on lid, an additional screw on lid (flip open) with a small hole to squirt - this was OK to use, but you still have an after "drip" to wipe off around top of bottle. Also, a pump came in package. I just started using it, no leaking, but again, a small amount of after "drip" to wipe. Perhaps using an olive oil sprayer may work? I thought my Siamese would love the oil. I put a few drops in a bowl & no interest. Nothing from my other picky cat either. I dipped my finger in it & picky licked a little off, Siamese no interest. I then mixed 5 - 6 shakes = drops (transition - don't start at full dosage) into their canned cat food. Picky had a few bites & left, Siamese finally started eating. Been about a week, Siamese is now OK with it mixed in her food. Picky cat has times where she will eat the whole bowl at once & other times not. She also really licks her tongue a lot around her mouth after eating. They always lick after eating, as food touches their furry mouth when they eat, I guess the oil sticks in their fur more. I "think" they are shedding a little less, & scratching/itching less. Less static electricity when I touch picky cat & also her coat seems to be getting softer. I do notice a fishy odor in poop, which is I guess to be expected. The oil itself is a pretty salmon color, when you open the bottle no odor, if you put your nose to bottle you can smell fish. If you get oil on your fingers, rinse , & wipe - no lingering fish smell. Yes, kitty will have fish mouth for awhile, but it isnt horrendous or over powering. Make sure to shake bottle before every use (I don't think I did when I let them try it & that may' ve been why). Start dosing small & build up. (& from what I read, never give them the whole recommended dose - always less)

Must buy!!
My Pomeranian had flat hair didn’t even look like a full breed Pom. Eventually I started searching what can help with his fur and read that omega helps so I gave it a try and let’s just say I love this product! His fur looks so much better, healthy, soft and fluffy! I get compliments on his fur and I recommend this product to everyone. Definitely will continue buying this product. Also the smell is a bit strong but doesn’t bother him and he eats all his food.

Phenomenal improvement in weight and appearance since using
Purchased this in hopes of adding some calories to my dog's diet. He's a very high energy dog with internment stomach issues when he gets worried or can't be with his people. As a result he doesn't put on weight easily and will often go down in weight with his activity. We've been using this oil for a little over a week and I'm thrilled with the results. Not only does my dog enjoy the flavor, he looks GREAT. I simply squirt it on top of his food in the morning and he does the rest. It does of course have a strongish fish scent to it, so snuggles after eating might not be for everyone. But in all fairness it smells much less than my fish oil garden fertilizer. Also, we've not had any negative outcome from this addition to his food. I did half the reccomend dose for the first several days to help him adjust and have only increased the amount by 1 pump since. Planning to purchase a 2nd bottle.

Great stuff!
Follow-up to my first review:We placed a second order for the big 32-oz bottle and again it arrived quickly and securely. No leaks. I love that they offer you the option of the pump dispenser, the squirt top or a solid top, because I want to use this large bottle as my "refiller" for the smaller one I purchased previously. Great value, all our dogs love it!We starting giving our bulldog salmon oil for his dry skin so I decided to give this brand a try. The price is so reasonable I was a little worried about the quality, but was so pleasantly surprised! The package came with a pump as well as a dispenser top (I like the pump personally for ease of adding it to his food) and he LOVES the flavor! He watches for me to add this to his food before he'll start eating. Not smelly either! I can't speak to the effectiveness yet, but he sure loves the flavor.

My ferrets prefer different brand
Can't say it's bad but my ferrets don't seem to like it as good as the Otis wild things oil. They will eat it if it's on their food but, prefer the Otis. A drop of each on a plate, they will go for the Otis and not tough this stuff. It seems watery and pail by comparison. Your ferrets may have different taste...
